@ Santa Cruz. You are right I believe, since bodog and bovada split, they are realizing there is money in poker. Years ago, they were the best thing going then they decided to change their software, alienating many, including me, who could no longer even login/play.

Now they appear to be a good force in poker, although I don't like the anonymous tables in general.

I have to wonder also how long Carbon will let PH keep their levels. Seems like they are just whittling down operations until they pull from the markets eventually.

f**k this site! they seemed to have gona back to 2 month w/d's. sorry but with bovada having a comparable tourney schedule and quick check you lose merge. they had it going well for 2 months why stop, no segregated player funds? no wait even with segregated funds they get interest right, so maybe the fast cashout time was just a publicity stunt to drum up business, a kind of bait and switch.

Okay, so everyone going over to Bovada, why are you not angry that they have zero VIP money back? They have the small promotions, but in reality you get almost nothing back, where on Carbon you can get 10 or 15%, which still sucks, but is something. Just curious.

You would think more people would be going to Winning instead of Bovada if Bovada is so effed up but still the best LOL

You are obviously trolling or shilling for bovada or very very dimwitted. How would you ever get the notion it's back to 2-month withdrawals? I'm not saying that can't possibly be true, but the most recent batch was last week. Please stop with the nonsense.

i may no be familiar with your excitable paranoia, but why exactly would you think they are back to 2 month cash out times?

PlayersOnly is now showing no VIP for me, did they end it all together or did I just get kicked out?

Checks went out twice last week, Mon and Thurs. Bunch of people requested on Thurs after checks were processed, no checks processed this week, obv sky is falling.

I would love to move over there but the MTT schedule isn't the best and not a big fan of the beast. They have been having some serious connection issues as well lately. Probably be splitting my time between the two over the next few weeks before pulling my roll off merge if they can't get it fixed.

I understand that, I just don't see the VIP program listed on the website so I am thinking they may have done away with it altogether when Carbon changed their VIP.

Not to shill bovada but for the LHE player that is the only site to play. Start with more fish than a grizzly in Alaska on the salmon run. Carbon now as about 0 rakeback money, at least I can use it on tourney's more valuable than 10% for the most part. However, Bovada has been running some nice promo's I rake $350 and get $100. I can complete it anytime and just play about 5K hands.

Best of all I can actually play 2/4 or 1/2 and not have 5 regs at my table. Nice payouts .. I two table so software is meaningless, with the fish not a need for a lot of notes, once the same person limps twice and goes to showdown with bottom pair, on a AKJ35 board what more do you need.

I've been wondering the same thing. It seems like PokerHost keeping its VIP system is too good to remain true.

^^^ yes agreed .. maybe Khan can way in with an opinion, just not enough action for me to move and risk months of play to have it taken away in 3 months.

What is your motivation everyday to defend a site that has slowly stripped you of almost all benefits you had a year ago?

What Bovada lacks in VIP they do make up for with incredibly loose action and $120-$200 rakeback a month with their cash promos. Now consider you earn 5k points. That's 500 in rake so you get $75 back for the month on Carbon. $500 in rake on Bovada clears their cash promo easily so the answer is for most players that Bovada gives you more back.

Now add in that I cashed out from Carbon on the 28th and am still pending along with the people from the 26th. Now factor in that I cashed out from Bovada yesterday and was processed 4 hours later.

So shill what say you?

Lets not even bring up that there's ACR where I get 27% rakeback and paid once a week plus a bbj that I don't have to contribute to for the next few months anddd a beast promo and lighting fast cash outs to a debit card.

But we get it. You get a couple bucks to shill here.

To whom it may concern:

First, I’d just like to say that I’m not here to criticize or complain about the new changes. I think change is always a good thing and I think it’s definitely a positive that Merge is willing to make changes at all. I think the MTT schedule from 6PM Est. – 9PM Est. is fantastic. There are 8 really good tournaments to play every night. I also am a huge fan of the changes made to the Saturday schedule. I think adding special tournaments to Saturday, is going to be a big success.

My main purpose of this post is to make a few suggestions on how to make the daily MTT schedule better for the times other than the 6PM – 9PM window.

1. Eliminate 50% of the small buy-in/small guarantees from the schedule. They clutter the lobby making it hard to navigate. They have very little incentive to play due to the very small prize pools. Finally, they are spreading an already small player pool thinner than it was before.

2. Add a few higher guarantee tournaments during the afternoon. My suggestion is to add a $6k guarantee $20 Rebuy at 12PM Est. Add a 5k guarantee $50 freezeout at 2PM Est. Add a $5-$7k guarantee $30 Rebuy at 4PM Est. Add a $8-10k guarantee $75 freezeout at 5PM Est. This is very similar to the old AP/UB schedule and those tournaments drew solid traffic EVERY day.

3. Leave the 6PM – 9PM MTT schedule the same. As I said above, that part of the schedule is great and is a very positive change for the site.

4. Bring back a few of the higher guarantees late night. I would bring back the old schedule for 10PM Est. – 1AM Est. The only tournament I might leave off that list is the $82 rebuy, unless you are willing to up the guarantee to at least $8k. Otherwise I don’t think there is enough value there to justify playing it on a daily basis.

I truly believe these added changes would make sense for the entire player pool. Regulars would have a few more solid tournaments to pick from during the day and recreational players would still have plenty of small buy-ins to suit their levels of play. Not to mention, most recreational players like to have bigger tournaments to pick from when they decide to take a few shots outside their normal playing levels.

Thank you for taking the time to read the post and considering my suggestions.

**To my fellow players reading this post: If you like the suggestions that I have made please repost it or show your support so that Merge knows this is what the players want. Also feel free to add to it and/or make changes that I might not have thought of.

Thanks,
Lifecooler
