I wonder if they would have cancelled it had their ****ty programmers not botched the $5 rb last week with $1 rebuys and causing it to overlay by like $2,800. $1,200 isn't even huge overlay ffs. Should have just made it a $5K as nobody could have possibly thought a $109 HU event on Merge on a Saturday would get that much attention. I'm surprised it got as many as it did. The nightly $109 struggles to get that high a lot of the time lol.

I probably won't be the only 1 reporting this to site. The OPS #37 Qualifier- 50 seats- was @ the bubble with 51 left. Being 1 of the short stacks, I was watching the tables with other short stacks. AgentCooper72- short stack- @ table #3 was asking others for help when his BB came. Sure enough they gave him a walk. Only 1 player said anything about it being unethical and they laughed @ him. Next hand fluffy was KO'ed on another table. As I said, I probably won't be only 1 reporting this. Six hours up in smoke to collusion. Unreal. AgentCooper72 is 1 of top mtt players on site- #88- 2013. Just no reason for that behavior. Just sayin...

You're right, it is unethical. But unless anyone in the chatbox agreed to softplay him, I don't think that it could be considered collusion unless someone did something really overt like folded Aces. It would take more than just 1 person begging for walks to make it collusion. But I think that the site should warn him not to do that since he is attempting to get the other players to softplay him.

LOL my buddy saw this and told me about it. Why are you crying like a girl? Why can't I ask for a walk? People don't have to listen to me. Maybe everyone had a crappy hand so they folded.

Doesn't matter anyways because he was in the blinds before I was and he shoved with 88 so go cry somewhere else.

Let me guess you reported me to support? Guess what? I'm an affiliate and get VIP treatment so **** you!!!

^Solid response for someone who is an affiliate lmao. Can I sign up under you?

In all seriousness, someone asking for a walk isn't that big of a deal, happens all the time. Like Cruz said, if someone obliged in chat then that's different. People do it jokingly a lot and it's impossible to know what his intentions really were.

After reading AgentCooper72's response, I hope that Merge drops him as an affiliate pronto, regardless of whether he was colluding. I think that Goodsaint needs to copy and paste that post and send it to Merge. Nobody should be getting special treatment in situations like that. AgentCooper should know better than to attempt getting other players to softplay him. As an affiliate who gets "VIP treatment" he should actually be held to higher standards than some fish mouthing off.

Agreed, I don't know about the legality of what he did, but I do know there's a level of professional decorum that should be upheld, and by being a prick he's negatively representing Merge, while also suggesting he can get away with **** because of it.

You sound like a stand up guy.

Guess I need to play more tourneys if this fish is considered one of the top players.

I doubt he's much of an affiliate anyway. If he was he would know better than to sound like a complete moron in a thread with potential customers. Though some affiliates say some pretty ridiculous things from time to time here..

Clearly it's a troll account and needs to be moderated away.

If the bubbleboy did in fact get knocked out with 88 then the post shouldn't be dismissed as a troll account. Generally speaking, I don't think that "moderating away" posts in forums is a good idea anyway unless the post is clearly breaking a rule.

Haha I had never heard of him until this. So I don't think hes exactly one of the TOP players. (scoped him and doesn't look like hes made a dime this year). If that's really him posting then major LULZ!

I think begging for a walk is not collusion but it is definitely unethical/goes against he spirit of the game. You ALWAYS see stuff like that going on in tourneys like this. I think most of the people who pull stunts like this don't know any better, but considering this guy IS a winning player and seems to have been around for a while I definitely think his behavior was quite out of line (though not ridiculously severe) and feel bad for those that were affected by this.

Does anyone know which merge skin has the best rake back or VIP system (if any) for new or current players and how to sign up. I've joined a few skins awhile back that are no longer active. I'm currently playing on Sportsbook and they told me I had to be invited through random selection it seems. She couldn't provide any criteria or way to try and sign up. Any help in pointing me in the right direction is appreciated.

FWIW, the Merge initial deposit bonus is like 7% rakeback; Bovada is 60%.

The only RB offered now is in the form of points that can be used for specific donkaments.
Not sure about Bovada.

Carbon OPS Sit & Go satellites are running around the clock. You can qualify for as low as $0.21 for your shot at taking down the event.

Does this even exist?

Cry like a girl. Exactly what I thought you were doing in the hands leading up to your BB. Was glad to see 1 person @ your table voice about ethical nature of tables' actions. And you guessed right. I did report you to support. And I would guess I wasn't the only 1. As far as being an affiliate and getting vip tx, that's your little red wagon. I don't care if you push it, pull it or do whatever with it. See you in the tourney and hope you don't leave your ego home. Just sayin.

Bovada's initial deposit bonus clears at 20% for cash game players, 60% for MTT players. Merge's bonus clears ~7% for all player types.

True, flat "rakeback" was ended on the Merge Gaming Network on January 31st 2013. NO skin/operator offers "rakeback." There are only VIP programs available now, and they equate to ~10% rewards.

Merge just moderates away entire forums, easier that way.

Thanks for the more complete info. Important distinction for cash play and I did only calculate it for tournaments.
