what if people are just shoving equilibrium/unexploitable shoves and can do this over and over until they win a few? Then the caller basically can hope to break even best case.
Basically having the late reg go this long amounts to the site endorsing short stacking (in tourney play no less)
Some of these structure are allowing "re entry" with 3-5bbs.
It is clearly and very obviously benefiting
anyone making money off of rake, and hurting players with smaller bankrolls.
PokerStars recently made rules to address this in cash games because they understand sort of thing is bad for the game.
