Hmm, it differs here as the Winter Sale is a rare event and I think you won't be able to reg into the normal (€150) Sunday Special later anyway... If the satty description says that it awards a seat to a certain explicitly named tourney, I'm afraid it's valid at best for tourneys with the same name only. At least, out of caution, I wouldn't play such one for the first time unless I intended to play in the target event, and only then have a look at the token I'd get for the unregistration. As for whether it can be used in a following week instead or should be played through immediately, I fold here lacking experience, we need a satellite reg to step in here
But I can't imagine iPoker being cruel enough to disallow postponing play in the recurrent tourney of the same name. At least I know that giving tokens that are valid for any tourney of the same name (like a generic IPO sat token good for 3 months) as cashback is indeed practised.
However, it's common for skins to give generic tourney tokens as a cashback reward or a prize in the Steps system, whose name contains just the buy-in amount without a reference to a specific tourney, and those can be used for any tourney of the same buy-in.
That said, it's often not a good idea to grind satties on iPoker because, unlike at Stars, player points are generally not awarded when using a token to buy in, as opposed to buying in by real money. (Skins have the right to credit points manually on token buy-ins but not all of them use it.)
In general, if you reg
using a token and then unreg, you'll always get the same token back and be able to reuse it wherever it's eligible (the scope of each token is specified in the 'Tokens' section of the 'My Poker' tab of the client).
TL;DR: read T&C wherever you find them, remember that it's iPoker
