Earlier in the beta I had a message about the lack of an Internet connection and still have it , I do not know what to do.


That blank screen looks similar to the compatability issue with internet explorer in windows 10, but I thought that only affected the old client.

Pokertracker tweeted at someone saying there r going to release a new update later today that will fix problems with new ipoker software

I'm not saying they're not being saved somewhere, but I have looked everywhere I can think to find the hh being saved locally.

If they're not being saved though I can't see how a pt4 update would help without the hh. Maybe an iPoker update will fix it in due course.

Well, in win10, its some display issue that is fixed by opening internet explorer and selecting compatability view settings and adding in the url of the poker site. Even if you dont use internet explorer that is the software the poker client is using to display these images.

I know for betfair you would add betfair.com and betfaircashier.com to the compatability view list. For coral it was coral.co.uk and egalacoral.co.uk.

I worked out the coral ones myself by downloading something called fiddler7 which notes all urls your pc accesses. So when i opened coral i could see which coral urls were being accessed and then added them to compatability view in internet explorer and it worked.

Thats how it was fixed in windows10. You can give it a go or just try williamhill.co.uk or williamhill.com for a 1st attempt quick fix

Dont think pt would tweet that if they didnt have a fix to it and some ipoker companys dont have the new update so dont think ipoker would have some companys be able to save HH while some cant.

Did you guys get the following email from iPoker?

As of tomorrow, when you click on the William Hill Poker icon on your desktop you’ll be instantly greeted by our new and improved software.

Please note:

If you have the beta version of the new software installed, as well as the old software, we recommend you uninstall the beta version.
If you use the ‘Hand History’ functionality in the Beta version, you will need to manually save the file, as it will be deleted.
To do so:
Right-click on the WHPoker desktop icon -> Open ‘File Location’ -> ‘Data’ -> ‘Nickname’ -> ‘History’ folder and copy it to your PC.
If you need any further assistance, please contact Support.

same as above for william hill, to get hud working have to use the table finder and manually select each table.

Am I the only one who can't even fire up the new client? I get an error message saying "The ordinal 3906 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIVEAY32.dll."

Have tried all the sites @ Ipoker and get the same error whichever client I try.

Replaced the liveay.dll with one that i downloadad and now I dont get that error msg anymore. Client still crashes upon start and it refers to APPCRASH on PokerClient.exe and one dll-file named ntdll.dll which i can't replace with a new one.

Looks like my grinding days @ Ipoker are counted

have you tried multiple ipoker clients to see if its an isolated skin that went wrong with the update?

The new coral poker client isn't saving any hands for me whereas other people say theirs is but the hud isn't working. I guess everyone is having different problems atm.

Yeah, tried several Ipoker skins. Same problem with everyone. Even tried updating to Win10 without any success.

fresh install windows 10, doing upgrades suck and causes lots of minor problems. fresh install any of the ipoker clients. if you have a client already installed use a 3rd party uninstaller to remove all traces of the client, the built in windows uninstaller is not sufficient. then install again.

After uninstalling the new client and the new new client and then reinstalling, my hands are now being saved locally. Success.

When I sit and wait at a heads up table on the new coral poker client the tables closes after 5 minutes of non-activity.

Is it like that for everyone else too or have I messed up any settings?

For those still struggling to find where HH are being saved (which I was), I played a few hands then searched my C drive for the word 'History'

The search results showed a folder generated today, I clicked the Properties of the folder and it showed the file path.

For me on WilliamHill it was the following;

C:\Users\tom jeffery\AppData\Local\William Hill Poker\data\NICKNAME\History

Once I copied that path to 'add folder' under the Site Setup area everything worked perfectly including table HUDs

Hope that helps anyone still struggling

Does the new Grinder deck (an imitation of Stars' Quasar) feel a bit wrong to anyone else here? I'm not sure what exactly makes me feel uncomfortable, perhaps the white font used for card ranks is not bold or big enough, or the colours aren't bright enough.

I liked the Grinder deck of the beta client more.
