Thanks a lot! Coral was the skin I was looking at, too. So this works out great for me.

Why do the Turbo SNG's have the same rake as the Normal? It doesn't make sense. I noticed this on some other poker sites.

Any good ways to get money onto iPoker (specifically betfair) living in Canada? Neteller doesn't work for Canada, can't get a paysafe card, they only take transfers from European banks. I'd put it on a credit card but I don't want to get hit with a cash advance fee from my creditor and the betfair deposit fee.

Short answer is no, you'll have to eat the fees. Make sure they provide an appropriate withdrawal option. Canada is a small market so they don't really try to accommodate us.

That's too bad. Sort of discouraging but I guess you're right about Canada not being a big chunk of their market.

Every skin has different options, I use Will Hill and they do let me use my bank for withdrawals. Credit union, so not even one of the big 5, which is quite convenient. Downside is no rakeback

I had an account at WH but when they got rid of RB and switched to the new SBRB I decided it wasn't worth it.

Hi!

Is there a way to move my notes from one room to other?
Renaming the username.pbn file worked for me a while, but in the last couple of months it doesnt work ,however they still use it to store the notes.

(I use hm notes of course, but the color coding in the room's notes is very important to me)

Betfair is your answer my Canadian friends!

You can reach 55-75% rakeback per month even if you rake moderately
It's even based on the weighted contributed method and not the airy-fairy smoke and mirrors magic RPV method

The Betfair deal is made up of the following:

35% flat rakeback (VIP Level Gold)
20% from the up to $2,000 signup bonus followed by 10% from the Opt-in Bank Job promotion
(up to 15% from an exclusive rake race of an affiliate)
0-10% from other Betfair promotions

Hope that helps

Best wishes

Johnny

Be a bit careful with Coral though. I really enjoyed playing there, until I suddenly received an email telling me they have made a business decision to stop accepting players from my country and asked me to stop playing immediately. This was very inconvenient as I think I was at the third place for my affiliates monthly rake-race. I was able to withdraw the money that was in my account, but the rake race payment and some of my rakeback was paid the next month - when I was no longer able to access my account. Customer support was completely clueless when I asked for my money, only telling me that I made a withdrawal earlier. Fortunately RakeTheRake was my affiliate and helped me out so I think I got what was owed to me.

Alas, that's the way it happens at other iPoker skins too: Paddy, Everest and Ladbrokes parted with Russian players in the same abrupt way

So it makes common sense not to buy big pending bonuses with points on iPoker - they get cancelled with no compensation when the skin stops service in a country.

Coral kicked out Germans not long ago and called it a "business decision" - I thought it was utter bogus. They were one of the first skins to have the new html client, did anyone else get that up and running finally? Titan had it before but never advertised it.

In freerolls exclusive to Coral (Daily Mission), some players indeed wear a badge (which is shown in the beta software) saying that they're playing on the web client. I haven't tested it myself, though.

Coral has bragged about having released the mobile app as well (on Dec 1), I haven't tested it either.

Coral booted Germans so that is no option for me. Ladbrokes has a UK mobile only app also ... quite annoying. Any other skins? I remember bet365 had a html version for the iPad.

Just tried again and it did in fact let me download the Ladbrokes Poker app through the App Store. Software loaded fine as well, just gotta find me login details again lol. Been a while since I switched to a Mac more than a year ago.

That they've been silly enough not to put a block on downloads from Germany doesn't mean that you're allowed to play from there. And anyway, how are you going to withdraw the winnings?

What are you talking about? It is not forbidden to play online poker from Germany and Ladbrokes has never banned us either unlike some other iPoker skins (Paddy, Coral) that never wanted to acknowledge any "proper" reasons. Skrill works perfectly fine still.

Ah OK, I didn't realise Ladbrokes still allow Germany. I though they're even nittier than Coral when it comes to allowing countries.

Paddy are the nittiest for that matter, they banned Germans like three years ago or so for absolutely no reason lol. Coral booted us like 2-3 months ago? I haven't received any notification from Ladbrokes though.

Edit: Logged in without problems and it is the same html client that bet365 also has. Better than nothing, ah well.
