It is Sunday, first really cold(est) in year, all Europe, almost November, 22.30 GMT. They ran a big easy to get into freeroll for 3k players two hours ago. There are total 5k players CONNECTED to network and further quickly dissipating. Owners of Playtech fire everone in top of poker network. Owners of
WilliamHill, Bet365, Everest, Betfair, Ladbrokes, PaddyPower, GalaCoral, Dafa...

-fire each and every 'poker' guy. Do not only fire them, sue them for damages.

Not easy to get into - all the seats are occupied 15 mins into the tourney and there's in fact no late reg opportunity after that, though nominally it's 1 hour...

The beta client doesn't lag that much, fwiw. It can crash randomly here and there, but it's fast and furious.

But there are no waiting lists for cash if I am not mistaken? Dunno if it is a feature or not but last time I checked they didn't have them in beta client

No, there are no waiting lists yet in the beta. A major issue with MTTs is that the seat auto-centered after the player is moved to a new table. Maui jackpot SnGs are absent from the lobby.

The only format (besides maybe Speed) that is totally grindable via the beta client is Twister (HM2's Table Finder has to be used to place a HUD on a table), and it's quite logical that its support has been the top priority because it's the main cash cow nowadays

I need help from iPoker regulars. What site on the network is best for multi-table SNGs?

I haven't tried the beta client yet (for fear of it being worse.... I've had bad experiences with playtech updates in the past.... that f'n lobby upgrade thing a couple years back.. ughh!!).

Lagging was only happening for me while playing Tournaments. I didn't experience it on other tables. I'll give the beta version a try. tks!

Hi, Im trying to get help with choosing site on iPoker network, if anyone could give me some advice I'd be rly thankful.

- which is best ipoker site in your opinion?
thinking of reliability (funds, overall trust etc.)
rakeback
fast processing
support

Im thinking of everest vs betfair, what do you think?

But im little not sure about everest, I think they had some problems in the past with reliability but im not 100% sure, what do you guys think? Thanks in advance to anyone.

Hey 4BTFT

As far as the rakeback element is concerned you need to submit a request for rakeback HERE

Best wishes

Johnny

I downloaded the beta client and played for a day, it was ok, but was disconnected twice.

woke up this morning to find that my client, which was working perfectly before bed, now is missing some .exe file and I had to uninstall.

waiting for the omega version!

Betfair. Just choose a good affiliate like raketherake

Going to try the new software with Coral. Does it remove the old software incase I don't like it or it is buggy? I would like to have both versions on the PC so wont try the updated one until I know I can still use the old one.

No, the new software is installed in a separate folder and can coexist with the old one. Moreover, the histories of hands played on the new client can be retrieved via the old one ('My Account' -> 'Cash Game / Tournament History') in case the new one records hands incorrectly (though it normally does produce correct HHs).

The only limitation is that you can't run it together with any other iPoker client, including Coral's old.

One tiny annoyance is that, if the avatar chosen in the old and the new clients don't coincide, you'll always have the avatar from the old one upon restart.

Coral online chat wasn't working earlier, but it just worked. I asked the guy and he said he would check, came back and said yes it would overwrite the old one and so if I was worried about the beta being buggy I should wait for a more stable version.

I'm thinking you are probably right though. I would have to think a poker player is used to thinking and has first hand knowledge, whereas a guy on a phone who possibly doesn't know his arse from his full house is relying on what others tell him.

Plus how do some players have see through avatars? I don't see it as an option

They untick 'Show Avatar' in the same menu where the avatar can be set.

The new client doesn't overwrite the old one if you choose to install them in different folders.

Anyone got any links or info on chip ev in the twisters?

I am curious as to how many chips is break even and possibly how many chips are needed for 5% roi etc?
[IPoker] Unofficial Thread Quote
10-22-2015 , 09:00 PM
37.63 chips/tourney are needed to break even before rakeback; add 5.38 chips/tourney for each extra 1% of the ROI, e.g. 37.63 + 5.38*5 ~ 64.5 chip EV is needed for a 5% ROI. Rakeback incl. races has to be taken into account, though - it's a massive portion of overall winnings.

Done some internet searches for rake races. Found one for $2,500 at raketherake with 35% flat rakeback. I emailed them.

If I get them to link my account so I can join the rake race would I still be able to get normal Coral rewards? Like they have their own special twister race this month, some football predictors, free bet offers, and some other stuff. Does being linked to an affiliate restrict normal rewards?

It usually doesn't, but RakeTheRake has a few exceptions at iPoker skins (Betmost and Winner, afaik), so please email RTR and ask for which exactly promotions you're eligible.

It seems that RTR allows its players to benefit from all Coral's promotions except the VIP program (which is replaced by direct monthly rakeback; well, points can still be exchanged by the player, but at a lower value than 40% of the rake - don't do it), but I'm not 100% sure. When players are ineligible for skin's global promotions, RTR usually clearly states it on the rakeback info page of the skin.
