Sad to say that Betsson is taking money from accounts as an 'inactive fee' - they took 5 bucks from my account a week ago and have totally stonewalled me since. They emailed me after the fee was deducted, no warning before.

It is 2020 and I didn't think that poker sites were doing this anymore but there you go. So just wanted to let people on twoplustwo that Betsson takes money from accounts as a fee for inactivity.

From their terms and conditions:

"11. Inactive accounts
11.1 An inactive account is an account that has not been accessed or logged in to for an uninterrupted period of 12 months.

11.2 Once Your Account becomes inactive, we will charge a fee of EUR 5.00 per month from your account as an administrative fee until your account real money balance reaches zero, unless you log in to Your Account or withdraw the funds. We will contact you via e-mail 30 days prior to your account becoming inactive to notify you of the consequences thereof."

Beware. Super shady!

Amazes me how stupid people are. It's allmost unbelievable. First they don't read the tos and after something like this happens they cry like baby who got her lollipop stolen. Why do you keep money on a site you don't eve use? And allso why are you so stupid to do that?

Btw other sites do that allso so you should check your others accounts allso so you don't have to cry like a baby again for your 5 bucks.

Mate - have you read the terms and conditions of every poker site you have every deposited on? I seriously doubt it.

You agree that it is cool for poker sites to do that? No wonder sites can get away with that kind of crap. I don't really care about five bucks, but it is more like how many other people are they taking the money from?

I dont know if this is the case for Betsson, but several regulators demand this inactivity deduction.

Yeah, this is a cry post like 5%.

So for sure, Ipoker is one of the softest places to play poker.

But anyway every time I play on this site I feel like something shady is going on?

Some examples of what I mean/ Losing too many flips where I am ahead, seeing some unbelievable calls where players call 50% of their stacks and hitting there too often like gutshots, etc.. the list can go on but u probably get the point where I am going to.

Before anyone says to learn to play poker etc...
I have been supporting my self by playing poker for almost 2 years now and I were the biggest crusher at Microgaming small stakes ( According to the Russian site statname )


Obviously, I am not the first who is suspecting some shady things on the site and probably not the last one.

Also, the rake is super high and that they took out chat is stupid! Poker is a social game, I self like to chat and don't mind some donks calling me names I just laughed at that.

Notice that I do still win from ipoker cash games and bots hmm, haven't seen any or they are just so bad that can't name any from pot limit omaha tables.

Anyway back to GGPoker were and other sites where games are more secure than Ipoker.

No more shady than other sites.

Hey guys. I'm encountering frequent disconnects. Just reading this thread, this seems to be a problem which has gone back years. I would be very grateful if anyone can provide a solution. I'm using Juronjin, IpokerTools and HM3 on a high performance gaming laptop.

It's not internet disconnects, it's more just the software freezes and then crashes and I have to log in again after having timed out of all my hands

Anyone else get this ridiculous update today where the tables have changed slightly and now the action that was just made flashes up every time anyone does anything?

It's super distracting and annoying, I honestly think sometimes people sit around and brainstorm how to make updates as **** as possible for no reason.

Anyway, Assuming there's no way to revert back from this, so change skin until it's rolled out on all of them, then get used to it when necessary is the play?

Grosvenor updated today with the worst UI. Super distracting, clashing colours, tiny hole cards, tiny villain cards. Has this gone to all skins then? Is there a known way to play using the old client?

Betsafe still doesn't even have the new fast-fold tables, so you can bet safe there for a year probably.

They're a part of betsson, maybe the mothersite is the same then.

It hasn't gone to all skins yet and I think changing skins is the only option, unless there are wizzards who can find a revert like they did with stars and aurora.

When they released the last update that removed chat, it landed on different skins at different times, so if I were a betting man I'd wager it will be everywhere eventually.

I got used to it a bit, but definitely a downgrade.

It's sad that I get to repeat this every time ipoker has an "update".

The newest one is on only few skins so far, but it's coming to the other ones soon. Brace yourselves.

Who cares about the chat, you should be more worried about the software upgrade to the worse, just like Pokerstars.

Fish loves the chat so they can vent being sucked out and oc they think trashtalking is making them better players. When the reality is anyone with a braincell doesn't care about the chat. How can one play without the possibility hoping your opponents getting cancer I say!

And I allso think the chat is being removed for this reason.

I moved from iPoker a few weeks ago because of how poor the UI was on William Hill. I shudder to think what it must have been like 5 years ago....
