or revolution just officially folded?

I was bored and kinda mad I can't play tonight after coming home from a long days work, so I decided to have a little fun with support....

From Intertops support chat:

Brigitte: our poker provider experience an unexpected maintenance at the moment.

you: well, we all knew that revolution network is insolvent and broke

you: are they finally collapsing now?

Brigitte: I am sorry I do not have any information about that

you: what information do you have?

Brigitte: that an unexpected maintenance is running and that we do not exactly know how long this is going to take.

you: intertops player funds are guaranteed by your company regardless of whether or not the poker network (Revolution) collapses or not, right?

Brigitte: allow me a moment

you: this should be an easy question to answer....

Brigitte: I am sorry I have to ask my supervisor about this since we do not have any information about that our poker network should collapse.

Brigitte: Your patience is appreciated. I will be with you shortly.

Intertops is mainly casino and sportsbook and their base level phone service handles all calls for all products, so when you ask specific network related questions like this (especially about the finances of "Revolution") that is not part of their job.

They tend to cringe whenever a poker player calls, apparently casino and sportsbook customers are much lower on the general douche scale.

Intertops is safe regardless of the general idiocy that is Cake and Lock.

how is there any liquidity on this site with no new players coming in? No new fish? just people redepositing?

Ironically, you'll have the same problem on Revolution, although for different reasons. Even if you excuse the software I don't see anyone getting that many tables going b/c of segregation/crappy traffic. Your best bet may be to play both sites to increase your volume potential.

hey anyone having similar problem i am? My norton anit virus keeps killing the update for intertops even when i disabled antivirus protection for 15 minutes

Norton hates quite a few online gaming operations software. Intertops is one of them. You should uninstall Norton anyway. It's terrible. You're better off with a free Virus program like AVG or Avast.

Same thing here. Disconnected 3 different times today after trying to close the pop ups. Sad thing is that i was in both the tournaments anyway

There were a lot of $1/2 and $2/4 games this weekend, especially on Sunday. Games during the week seem to be the best during peak Euro hours and evening time in the US.

This is still baffling me. I've been looking for weeks at NL400+ and it's a total ghost town. It could change, midstakes holdem has been streaky in the past on here. I've been playing live tournaments during this dead time. Keeping my roll on here just in case.

Yup, Intertops hours are a bit more Euro-centric since they market worldwide and their US customer base is limited in scope.
