Is this serious?

Just provide the requested documents as they have requested. It's completely standard and almost all sites require it now at some point or another. If you haven't been asked for it at some of the other sites it's probably just a matter of time.

If your not willing to provide the documents then just realize that you probably shouldn't try playing Online Poker in the current environment. In fact, if the US gov. regulates it then expect verification to possibly be more difficult.

This is all you guys can say is that its standard. It is not in my experience. Maybe for you in another country it is. I don't know, just going by my own experience.

If it was regulated, it would be different. I wish it was regulated.

I have realized that online poker is not what it once was.

Again I played on intertops for less then a week 2k-3k hands. I sent cash on moneygram. I did not do any player transfer or anything.

I wish to close the account as I didn't like player1 2 3 showing up on my HEM. No problem I'll move on.

So, its not like I'm asking to play unverified. I just don't see the need for my personal account info and pp# to send a check? Why do they need to database this if I'm wanting to close the account?

I just want my deposit back, either in a check, or moneygram, or wu or whatever that I can verify in person, if needed. Is this so crazy?

There is no scam on my part, not even a question of it. Surely a scammer would not put up such a stink over principle? And since I haven't used a CC, where could there be a scam?

So where is the problem?

It's like if I went into a coffee shop and bought some coffee. Took a sip and didnt like it. What would you do as a business owner? You'd probably just give the money back?yes?

In this case I didnt even get the coffee or my money back? WTf?

You say security? So secure I can't get my money? You have all the info you need to send a check or moneygram or WU or whatever.

Agaiin where could I have scammed? I sent cash to my account and all info matched?

I don't think HEM has updated to support a hud on cake yet.(could be wrong here, I haven't checked in a few weeks)

afaik, to get a hud to work you have to play on the 2.0 client with PT3.

Country is irrelevant; all different poker sites request it from people in all different countries. The thing is, very few of them request ID from everyone (The only one I can think of is Mansion), so experiences vary a great deal. I'm sure there are people that have played at many sites and never been asked, and those who have played at very few and been asked many times. I've played at 50+ sites, and have only had to send in ID a handful of times. The point is, it's far from an unusual request.

I have not deposited or played on the site yet, however I was able to ensure that I had a rakeback account, and I would like to play in the near future. I remember some time ago, someone has mentioned that he had a daily/weekly and maybe monthly limit on how much money he was allowed to put in play. I seem to remember the rep coming into the thread saying that those limits could be raised, however it seemed like a bit of a process. I would like to get the ball rolling on that issue, but I don't know who to contact for that. Also, my daily limit for depositing is $200 and $500 weekly and I would like to have that raised, who do I contact to do that? Thanks for any help you can provide.

It wasn't much of a process for me. I did the verification process, made a deposit, then asked for my limits to be raised via live chat. I believe they base the limits on the amount of funds in your account as long as you have sent I.D+ proof of address.
