Has anyone won one of the trophy series events? I won a GOAT tourney Sunday and found a page that says they email you with a code for merch and to get address to ship, but I haven't gotten an email yet.

Do they wait til the end of the whole series to send them out?

They have a section on the Discord server for "where is my prize" questions.

I feel like it's partly my fault for not doing my due diligence before starting the promo.

At the same time, I feel like they described the bonus in a misleading way, by saying you earn 1 point per dollar when describing the leader board, and not saying that the points to release the bonus were awarded differently in the rules posted on the game client.

Who is more at fault, me or them?

Definately shady of them but to be expected at this point. These operators all know their clients have limited to no other options ...

Collusion in online poker is very difficult to detect specially with no hhs available. To combat this i've seen GGPoker's only showing your hole cards when it's your turn to act and not from the start when the cards are dealt.

Can Global do the same?

In addition, don't show the grayedout folded cards.

I strongly disagree that most good live players wait until it's their turn to act to look at their whole cards.

- Good players want the game to move quickly to play as many hands as possible, immediately looking at your cards allows you to make your preflop decision as quickly as possible, especially given there isn't a ton of thinking required for most preflop spots if you're good.

- When the action is on you is when most players at the table will be looking at you, looking at your cards at this time runs the highest risk of giving something away.

- Good players are less likely to forget what they have so looking immediately doesn't really have any draw backs

I think you are misunderstanding the optional "peel" function on GG. It's not mandatory and has no bearing on when you are able to see your cards
