Check out the entries on SharkScope for the people you play against. You'll see the expected spread of winners and losers. The ability score is not hidden, and many players opt in so you can see their tournament histories.

Or is the fix only on in cash games? Why, when you have slot machines with guaranteed income? You are a subsidiary of a public Australian company, with two other online "social casinos" (Chumba, LuckyLand) and reported plans to expand into other English-speaking countries. Why risk that?

Scandals in the past have revolved around super-users, site insiders who could see hole cards and were embezzling funds for their personal use. Why on earth would you want to mess with an RNG as a means of controlling winners and losers? What a programming nightmare that would be!

Every site has people who don't do well there, and can't think of any reason except that the site is rigged They would rather spend hours "proving" conspiracy, when the time would be better spent looking for leaks. Hand histories would be nice, but I think the lack of those is part of preventing the use of HUDs and other tracking tools.

It does take adjustments to do well at Global. You have to tighten up and tighten up again, in my opinion. There are players at Global so bad that you'd think you were back in the early 00s at Party Poker. In addition to the clueless, there are many good players. Fortunately, the player pool isn't huge, and you get to recognize the good players fairly quickly. It's nice to have short late registration, relatively quick tournaments and simple, consistent structures.

Maybe others can add their own suggestions, based on their experience at Global. I could sure use the help - I'm slightly above even after a rough start.

BTW, there is an official Global discord group. You need an invitation code, which you'll have to ask Global or another member for.

Tighten up on the site with turbo structures ... god this thread is lols

Hey I somehow got an invite/ free entry to the Invitational SC 10,000 Freeroll [Turbo] happening on Jul 29, 2023 4:00 PM (in 4 days). I think I might of got it b/c of the disconnection issues GP had last week (it didn't really affect much, I got sat out maybe 2 or 3 hands). Me too - a freeroll for a $33 GOAT tourney, but I'm not sure what "all or nothing" refers to.

The only downside is that here is a $30 add-on which would be out of pocket.

I'm sure people have won with the 2k original stack and without the 6k add-on stack, but that would be a severe handicap.

Hey did anyone get an email from an "Account executive" today ? I got an email seemingly out of the blue from a guy with an @globalpoker.com email address saying he is my account executive and can extend deals and then asking for me to confirm my address and phone number so I can be mailed a gift? Anyone else get this Im a bit sketched tbh haha

the site is totally crashed out. couldn't tell if there was a correlation to multitabling, it did seem worse going from 4 to 5 tables for some reason. But I think also one tabling players were dc'ing

Does Global save a lot of money by hosting games on a web browser vs developing and maintaining their own software? Trying to figure out how they give away so much money. These $300 for 400SC offers are so good!

I've been having trouble with it for a few days now. Tournaments seem the worst for me, can't get to the lobbies to register even if I'm lucky enough for the main tournament page to load.

Always. I assume there's some sort of playthrough restriction on immediate cash outs, but I haven't tried cashing anything out in a little bit.

All monies you deposit or get in bonuses from Global Poker must be "played through" at least once. by "played through" I mean u have to make a bet and it has to be called. If u go all in preflop and no one calls it doesn't count towards your playthrough.

In your case, your going to have to "play through" 400sc before you can request a cash out.

Yea, GP was running a bit funny last week. It wasn't that bad for me but others have had a different experience. I think it has some thing to do w/ ATT internet? Im not sure but I think I read something on the GP discord about it. u should chk it out...

If u wanna join GP's discord, there's an invite link on the GP homepage under the support tab at the bottom. There's a mod that comments/ answers questions on there daily. He has been very helpful and I strongly recommend others to join.

Apparently the issues have been linked to ATT internet. Here’s a post from a user in the discord:

Based on what we know, only people on AT&T are having issues getting to everything on GP. Which means somewhere within AT&T's network, there is an issue causing people to not be able to get everything needed to use GP. My guess is that there is some sort of security piece that is blocking certain types of traffic because it feels it is malicious. The hardest part is getting past the layers of customer service reps to an actual technical person who can look into the root cause.
