This software is browser based and not software correct or did they change that? I also recalled back then people said you use to convert coins or something for cash but that went away?

Are there any decent mtt volume on this site? I assume there is mtt but no where as close as any major site right?

Any issue multitabling? Are there people that multitable mtts and alot of it like with WPN or there just isn't any volume? I assume there no software you can use with it such as like HEM or PT or stackandtile or things like that since it's software based?

Browser based, you buy gold coins and receive sweeps coins as a bonus. The sweeps coins convert 1:1 sweep coin to USD. Small field tourneys. No HUDs allowed. GL

Soooo…. Is 200NL usually super duper soft? I’ve been playing mostly MTTs and had good success but hopped on 9max cash. Had 2 spew whales at one table. It’s Wednesday before dinner which is usually NOT a “whale friendly” day or time.

I've played mainly $0.5/$1 NL and $1/$2 NL on here in past 4 years with a decent amount of $0.25/$0.50 NL and $2/$5 NL too.....Have 1million hands on there (did take 4 years to get that many hands in tho). The cash games on here are pretty nitty at $100NL and $200NL, even the recs are very weak tight pre and post in big pots....It's been like this for a long time.....almost everyone is afraid to stack off without the nuts unless its the perfect bluff spot. At $2/$5 NL, regs are better, more aggro, etc but alot less fish at $2/$5+ and feels like 5 regs fighting over 1 fish. At $1/$2 NL and $0.5/$1NL, regs try to play a theory based style but tend to be kinda weak tight in big pots and overfold alot and don't bluff enough in big pots in many spots.

I noticed that. Whales were potting basically every chance they could and I saw so many tank folds. I picked up a few nice pots by jamming over their obvious turn pot bluffs even with air. Seems like a lot of the daytime regs don’t adapt well at 100 and 200Nl. Might have to try the cash tables more often.

Had an account on Global Poker for years as I saw it got decent reviews here as as online poker site US players can play at. Finally deposited, played for a few months, then decided to do the bank approval process so I could withdraw. Tried a voided check, they didn't approve because I didn't write the issuance date. Sent another voided check with date, they said it was incomplete (?) and to send a bank statement. So I sent that and they stopped responding. It's been about 3 three weeks since I first started the process, two weeks since their last response of, 'we're reviewing your documents'. No response at all when asked for updates.

Been playing online since before BF, on all sites, sites that even turned out to be scamming everyone...still got my money.

Is Global Poker scamming or just incompetent and this process normally takes a month while they ignore you? Based on all the recent posts about Global Poker being problematic...are they going under? I'd advise any new US players not to play here.

I just received a withdraw this week. Took two days like always. Though it was years ago I do remember the bank verification taking longer than I would like

Thanks for the info. Guess their customer service just sucks. Them being difficult over the verification process and then not replying to emails for weeks does not feel reassuring. I'm considering it just a loss at this point.

You can try to get help on their discord. They have active employees on there. On the global website under support hit the help center and scroll down. There is a link to join the discord

like 3 or 4 years ago, when I first signed up, the verification process was just how you're describing it. Once verified, I have never had even the slightest hiccup when it comes to deposits or payouts. My advice? Just be a little more patient and wait for it to come through. Once it does, everything runs like butter after that. But don't cut off your nose to spite your face, you know?

I'm new to GP and was wondering about their payouts. I've never deposited. I got a ticket to a small SC tourney at one point and finished in the cash. I've since played some other SC tourneys and rolled it over a couple more times. So my question is would I be able to cash out my winnings without having deposited? I know there's a playthrough requirement, but I have no idea how it'd work in this scenario. Thanks for any help!

If you hover over your SC section, it will show you exactly how much is eligible to withdraw.

You’ll have to go through the bank information process but withdrawals are fast and very reliable. I’ve pulled out 5k+ in the past 2 months

They normally require a 1x playthrough requirement, but Global can make certain players playthrough 20x at their discretion per the terms.

I'm trying to redeem sweeps coins for the first time in months but am getting this message. It's not allowing me to redeem that it says are available.

Does anyone know what this means?

Redeeming Your Cash Prize
For security purposes, Global Poker is required to ensure any prize redemption requests are reconciled against the original purchase sources.

If a player used multiple payment methods, we are required to reconcile any prize redemption requests proportionally against these methods, until the net balance for each of those purchase sources has been reduced to zero. As you purchase gold coins, your net balance increases, and as you redeem prizes, your net balance decreases.

Having trouble logging in. Nothing changed on my laptop so I don't get what's going on. It just hangs after putting in my details and doesn't load the website. Have had issues with getting logged out for no reason so it might be my laptop but it's weird, I have no explanation for it. Seems like it might be a website issue.

Logged in from another computer so it's almost definitely my laptop. I have no idea why that would happen though. So weird and randomly inconvenient.

Stupid question time. Does anybody ever deposit using the online banking or whatever where you log in to deposit via your bank or whatever? Is it trustworthy? I can't seem to get my cc's to work on global anymore. Thanks in advance.

I had cashed out completely a few weeks ago then went to deposit using Amex last week - shot down. They did accept BOA however, which is the account I have withdrawn to historically.

YES, I have always deposited from my banks checking account directly.

I think they use "Trustly" if I remember correctly, which from my research is safe. I have never had an issue.

You will have to link your account anyway to withdrawl.

I played on this site for YEARS. I referred my sister to the site about a year ago, she made an account, Deposited a few times (not cashing out once) and stopped playing for a while. I found out about these mail in requests not too long ago, had hopes of being able to utilize it to actually do a bit more than the bare minimum for Christmas for my family and decided to invest in some envelopes, index cards, and stamps. For every $1.10cad (ish) I would get $5usd to play with? Seriously? That sounds WAY too good to be true. I **** you not, it works!... 8 weeks after sending my 1st of many letters I get a $640 deposit into my account. 1 week after that I get a $460 deposit. I was sending in 40 a week for the most part (0 1 week, 100 1 week, and 60 another). So I still had another $1200ish coming in before Christmas.. I was playing $3 annettes before eventually bumping up to $6 Maggie's all day trying to play through the sweeps. I can't believe this is real!

I'm going to have Christmas taken care of, and I'll be able to maybe invest into some tools & equipment to start up my own little business after the Christmas break!.. For someone that can't work due to health reasons making it impossible to follow a schedule this is too good to be true! .. I may actually be able to afford the foods I need to be eating now. With the ridiculous rise in the cost of living and food in Canada it is very hard for someone in my shoes to make ends meet. THANK YOU GLOBAL POKER!

Is how the story should have went......

Except after receiving the $640 & $460 deposits, I went and stocked up on groceries, and bought $200 worth of stamps. Sent out another bunch of letters and waited for the next deposit to come in to work on the Christmas money. I woke up in the morning. Went to the site so I can collect may daily login bonus (day 105?) and see if my deposit was in yet. Only to find out I was BANNED!

I thought something must be wrong. Tried logging in again. Still banned. Went to my email and they confirmed I was banned for 1 of 3 things.

1. Using someone else's account.

2. Having multiple accounts.

3. Someone using my account.

I have never done ANY of them.. So I had my sister check her account and she was also banned. Now she did make a 2nd account because she was having trouble verifying her ID. She made several deposits and never redeeming anything. She tried multiple times to verify her ID but wasn't having any luck. Not sure why (she did it herself). She just wanted to be able to collect her daily log in bonus and be able to cash out. So she tried the only thing she could think of. Made a 2nd account. She goes by 2 different last names (both parents) and only 1 is on her ID so I can only assume she used the 1 not on her ID the first time and that was the reason her ID wouldn't verify.

Anyway, I get this probably raised a flag in the system and caused the ban. So I reached out to customer support, and after many ignored attempts to plead my case (closed several tickets without response) I reached out to David Lyons and he had the issue escalated to the integrity staff. Surely they will be able to EASILY verify everything and have my account back up soon, right?... NOPE.. They kept the ban and tried to refer me to an arbitration clause for further dispute. If you read into the terms of going through the arbitration clause for further escalation you waive your right to be be part of any potential lawsuit against them.

This is VERY fishy, and I will be contacting a lawyer.. This is fraud in my eyes. I can only assume the mail ins are only a thing to help them with the loop hole that is the "sweeps" model to allow them to essentially run an illegal gambling site in the US. If it was any other time of the year I would likely just let it go, but they literally just gave me false hope and completely robbed me 2 weeks before Christmas when I had everything riding on it. I can understand the original ban happening, but the fact they looked into it further and still feel there's grounds to ban me just proves their true intent for the ban. I won't let this go. I will be looking at getting a lawyer, and might even take it as far as the media. Thus is so wrong. Like why offer them if your going to just ban people for using it. Could you not just put a cap on how many can be sent in and still have it help with the sweeps loophole?

Yall literally ruined my ****ing Christmas. I played on the site for years, referred so many people to it, tuned into the live streams, participated in the social media contests.. This is VERY disappointing and I hope no1 gets this kind of slap in the face before Christmas. So such to my stomach over this it's ridiculous
