On GGPoker, is there a way of pretty much reducing its CPU usage as much as possible? Finding it quite laggy recently and running on a decent spec laptop.

Settings I can’t see anything on.

Assuming Windows PC

Search google for how to limit CPU usage of an application if the below doesn't help.

Right click the bottom navigation bar and choose Task Manager, find GGpoker under the processes tab, right click on GGpoker, choose go to details. On the details tab, right click on GG again then navigate to set priority and reduce the priority to see if that helps.

This likely will still hog CPU usage as you are actively using the app, but it might put some other running processes ahead in the priority queue and could help a bit.

If you have a Mac, I'm of no help.

LMAO GGpoker advertises 24M giveaway for december (compared to last month's 12m) then they reduce cash leaderboard prizepool on reg tables 50k$ to 40k$. I also can't find the cashdrop promotion either, I'm wondering whether that's gone for this amazing unprecedented rain of $$$$

Yeah few people asked about this in the reddit but no answers yet. They cut spins lb atleast for the higher places ~20% and probably the same with other formats. Weird part is that the biggest lbs ever were suppoused to start today. Gues just wait and see if something happens tomorrow. If not then need to move along atleast I wont be paying 20% more rake.

Yes leaderboards have been cut across the board. he mystery battle royal ones are reduced heavily also.

What do you mean include rake? If it didn't include rake the like the craft it would ne misleading. That's from the hn2 tracker right? That can be winrate instead of allin ev adj wr though but why would you put that there when you are not selling coaching etc?

Welcome to gg where more is less. Literally every 'promotion' looks like this.

The rake in these games is 14-16bb/100. Which is true if you look at the guy on mining sites, because their winrate there is only 2bb/100.
Which obviously makes it harder to sell education...

My guess is that they are giving the lbs back when the 12 days of xmas starts. Or atleast I hope so lol. Every single time there is something "extra" the fund it from somewhere else. So in the longer run nothing changes.

Yeah I don't play those games but I do know they are raked hard. But again that tracker shows the results with rake. And they play most of the time 200bb+ so you can have a big wr there. And again I do not know is that ev or just bb/100.

I'm curious about whether players think the EV cashout option in cash games is strategically viable? Since your win/loss over time is exactly equal to your equity %, are you simply just giving up the 1% fee?

Paying a fee to reduce variance is for stupid people. Play games you are rolled for and don't play so deep it hurts to lose. If the situation is like ipoker where the cashout is free then I would take it. There was a post in reddit (or here) where some idiot took the cashout having set of aces over set of kings ott and the bbjp would have been like 50x the ammount he would have lost to the one out. Stupid people.

Not worth. But always ask to run it twice or 3 times option, it nicely reduces variance withou any drawbacks.

You have the strd rake like any other site. X percentage taken from the pot. Then they rake uncalled 3bets preflop. In ante games every single pot is raked even if you are in the bb and get walked because the pot is big enough. On top of the strd rake there is the bbjp fee for pots over 30bb. Rake is massive and most likely the biggets one of all sites.

It looks like now I DO NOT GET FP points for rakeback AT ALL, obviously because I got a warning for "Hit And Run" ..... which I never actively do, I might just play longer without a break when there is a super juice table and take a break or go to sleep after the huge VIP left.

I always use the autoseat funktion, never change tables except when its a reg battle with max 3 players and take many breaks, where I close all table and start up new with the autoseat funktion.

Obviouly with my random breaks I sometime leave a table soon after a big pot, but what can u fkn do if your eyes burn, the gf calls or there is pressure where the sun dont shine ffs

I play the ante tables where often there are huge pots galore, how can u not leave smts right after winning 400bb+ pots ffs

If you mean from yesterday then it's because the site crashed and fps allways lags after that. And sometimes they lag for no reason at all. If you for real haven't received any from like two weeks then that sucks mate.
