Hello everyone,
I would like to share my recent experience with GG-Support on this forum. As someone who doesn't have many friends who play online poker,
I believe that sharing my story here will increase my chances of finding a solution.
I am a Dutchman who used to have an account on GG.com, which I hardly used due to receiving rakeback at PartyPoker. I lost a maximum of $500 on this account.
When the Netherlands legalized some poker sites, including GG, I decided to open a new account on GG.nl. However, I ran into an issue during the registration process.
The website warned me that my phone number was already associated with an account. I assumed that this was because of my old GG.com account.
Since the GG.nl support team was busy that day, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I emailed GG.com to inform them of my plan to close my old account,
so that I could create a new one on GG.nl without any problems. I did this without thoroughly reading the website's terms and conditions.
Without any further thought, I clicked the "Exclusion" button on my GG.com account. I assumed that this would close my account permanently.
Unfortunately, about five days later, I received an email from GG-NL Support that stunned me. Instead of helping me with my new registration,
they blocked access to create a Dutch account. To make matters worse, they suggested that I seek help from gambling addiction services.
I was shocked that GG-Support completely ignored my initial email and evidence and accused me of being a gambling addict. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported by GG.
I love poker and play more then 16 years, way before black-friday when Fixed Limit Hold'em and Cardrunners was a thing.
If anyone could help out a fellow poker player, you could always shoot me a PM.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I hope that by sharing it here, I can find a solution.
