ClubGG: Rampage poker club a ponzi scheme rife with collusion ClubGG: Rampage poker club a ponzi scheme rife with collusion

So the big shot Youtuber and WSOP bracelet winner Rampage has a poker club using the CLUBGG app with thousands of players paying rake on every pot. I deposited a few times and immediately started detecting collusions amongst various players but brushed it off until it was made blatantly obvious earlier today resulting in a small loss for me. I immediately reported the cheating to the support channel he has set up on Telegram and was completely dismissed and given a mountain of lies about how the club is regulated with state of the art security to prevent collusion... A complete lie. Moreover, the entire club is a total Ponzi scheme. The withdrawals are paid out from new player deposits, and this is how Rampage shuffles the money around to evade detection by banks so that all financial transaction point away from him and his partner, Mariano, who is also one of the ring leaders of the club. I never sent money to the same person twice. It should come as no surprise why this Rampage guy is now playing 100k buy-in cash games with the endless money both him and his partners are reeling in from the numerous tables that collect rake. Mariano was a low level cash game player who overnight started playing these huge live cash games and now it all comes together on how he is sourcing his money. Yes, I know this Rampage guy has made hundreds of thousands of dollars winning tournament, but he definitely isn't a millionaire, and as far as I know doesn't have any backers. He is definitely smart enough not to put his entire bankroll on the line, but is playing in these huge cash games above and beyond his net worth.... Well now it is obvious where he and his partners get the extra money from. It wouldn't shock me if those running this club were dipping into player funds to support their gambling habits knowing that if the sh*t hits the fan they would have zero liability. The PLO tables are rife with collusion, but the club managers deny it and take no responsibility for it. It is pretty obvious when the same screen names always join rooms together and start going all-in against unsuspecting players knowing that even if the victim has pocket aces the odds of cracking them with 3 or 4 random hands is extremely high. Then there are the players who are in the club who are clearly using a VPN because there isn't Venmo or CashApp or Zelle in countries like Norway and Armenia. The club can claim they are using crypto and that very well may be the case, however, it is more likely they are using the VPN to conceal the collusion on the tables. I may have lost a small amount of money, but I don't look at this as a singularity. Cheating is pervasive in live games and is absolutely rampant online. I understand that playing on some unregulated poker app is a enter at your own risk proposition, but when cheating and collusion is clearly made obvious, then Rampage and Mariano and everyone else who is involved should be responsible for repaying the losses of the victims. Rampage and Mariano and all his little poker buddies running this club might not be the individuals cheating, but they are responsible for the players who lose money because of it. I had some money left over and asked to withdraw it because of the collusion and now I have to wait until new players join so the club owners can instruct them to send me the money because the entire operation is a total Ponzi scheme. Ethan and Mariano are two degenerate gamblers who have to subsidize their gambling expenditures with the shady poker club they are both Running using the CLUBGG app. It wasn't a bad experience until I got cheated. All the club masters do is cover it up and lie to the victims about it. Not cool Rampage and Mariano. Not cool.

P.S -- the club still hasn't paid out the entirety of the withdrawal after Rampage himself took the buy-in directly to his bank account v.i.a Zelle. Scumbags.

There was a thread on here a year ago or so that Rampage was chip dumping and colluding with his buddies in live cash games. So this latest accusation isn't surprising.

But wait let me type it, ANOTHER SCAMMER IN THE POKER COMMUNITY? NO FREAKING WAY!!

It was pretty good initially and I did win money both in cash games and even on a freeroll. Today is when these particular players made it blatantly obvious that there was collusion going on. I got screwed out of money, and still haven't gotten my full buy-in back. I almost lost hundreds of dollars the other night because anytime you want to deposit you are told to start sending money to random people (paying out other players cashout requests) but luckily that didn't happen. At this very moment Rampage is sitting with my money in his bank account and I have only gotten a portion of it returned and it was from two random people.

If anyone has ever watched the videos on Youtube when Rampage and Mariano are at the table it is pretty obvious that they are in cahoots. There are some other YouTubers who have a big following that have 3 young kids that have openly admitted that they play as a team at live games but I forgot the name of their channel.

That's what the accusations were on the other Rampage colluding/cheating thread but the mods decided to lock it which was a shame.

If you want some insight into the reality of the online poker industry, maybe disclose from where you are playing ? You said "zelle", so you apparently are in the US. Contact GG Poker, maybe ?

You really think your money is sitting in a bank account in Rampage's name ? (I think he would have had to be insane to take a gaming deposit directly to what you say was his personal bank account btw. If so, you probably have more leverage than you think.)

Did you ask for a cashout ? When ?

(I have zero connection to GG, Rampage or any other actors in your tale of woe, just think you need a reality check, or.... try the Poker Players Alliance or your State gaming commission.)

I don't care about all of that. And yes, absolutely, 100% Rampage himself took the deposit via Zelle. I haven't recovered all of the money and support is just ignoring me.... what does that tell everyone.

Do you understand the value of paragraphs?

READABILITY. IOW, you will reach more people using paragraphs than just posting a wall of text. Go ahead and drop punctuation and capitalization also and see how effective your posts become.

There are a few ClubGG out there but others clubs have a designated person who handles all deposits/cashouts. The cashouts with other clubs have been instant, whereas with this Rampage guy you are told to wait 24 hours because they pay players out with new player funds... A Ponzi scheme.

If you're going to make zero effort to communicate then I'll just assume you're sad you lost your lunch money and your claims are meritless.

I didn't write a professional press release and you bozos are on the forum policing grammar and sentence structure... What a bunch of clowns. Trolling threads is worse than my lack of paragraphs, fyi.

People commenting on how hard the original post is to read are basically saying "I ain’t reading all that I’m happy for you though or sorry that happened".

Believe it or not, some internet memes actually make sense and we can all learn from them.

This club has over 5,000 registered players... you know how much rake these guys are pulling it. It is no wonder how Mariano and Rampage are sitting down at cash games with 50k-100k cash. Especially Mariano.. This guy was grinding 2-5 over a year ago and all of a sudden he is at the high stakes table. I only got a part of my money back. There was the part that I lost because of the cheating, and the remainder of my cashout that has not been paid. You live and your learn.

As someone who's played on Rampage's ClubGG a bit, I think the collusion and cheating allegations sound like bs and the whining of a sore loser. It's possible that they are undercollateralized, but the real reason why deposits and withdrawals go peer to peer and not through a central Venmo account is to evade the IRS. Underground games like this can simultaneously be in a legal gray area but still free of cheating.

That being said, what's really stopping players from winning is the astronomical rake, especially at lower stakes. The rake is something like 3-5% uncapped at low stakes, and even though it is capped at high stakes they rake up to $30(!) per hand in the 5/10 games. These guys must be making insane amounts of money from running a club this large, even after kicking back some portion to agents and ClubGG/support staff. An average 5/10 game is probably raking upwards of $500 an hour.

Edit: The rake being so high means that probably 90% of players end up as net losers, which funny enough makes it even more likely that they have enough collateral to offset deposits (because so few players can actually withdraw $ as winnings).

It's funny you mentioned that about Mariano. A few of us were talking about that same thing in Foxwoods the other day. He went from 2-5 and now he's buying in for $50,000? $100,000?

Something is very fishy.

I mean his club has always paid me out since I joined, but today after I sent money to Rampage and joined a table these users jumped on the table that I had been suspicious about previously and then BOOM it happened when it became clear as day that these users were either multiple people colluding or perhaps one single individual using a series of devices to run multiple users at a single table. I jumped off the table and wrote to support and the agent was spewing pure BS and evading the incident altogether. I asked for the remaining amount of money to be immediately returned because normally cashouts take up to 24 hours, which I was totally fine with until the cheating. I got burned for the money I lost because of the collusion, then only received a partial refund. Considering Rampage was the one who pocketed the money it should have been simply sent back and the matter would be dead and this thread wouldn't exist.

Oh yeah, the other Youtubers I mentioned who are colluders have a channel called Next Gen Poker. They all pool their money and the 3 of them sit at the same table and work as a team to play poker.

Absolutely not. The other night I got wasted drunk and donked off over $2700 in a home game and that was that. When the same user names seat themselves at an online table at the exact same time, fold to one another, and then start raising and re-raising and going all in, buddy, that is collusion. Then you stand up from the table and one by one they leave or start folding non-stop that is collusion.

This is why Mariano and Rampage are always siting at the same live games together -- because they are probably doing the same BS that the Next Gen poker kids do at live games.
