how do you cash in pop points on the new software?

Random comments on the above:

1) Support told me that hand history is no longer available at all. The .db file is in Sqlite3 format; I took a look and cracking it will require more work than I would be willing to put in. Maybe the profit motive will get someone else to do it.

2) I too got the "connecting to game server" error. Support told me that for some people the update was not automatic. Apparently I was one of those people. Manually uninstall the old software and install the new from the website to fix that.

3) Indeed you have to run the new client as administrator. In Windows 10, for me at least, it would not run from a shortcut. To fix it permanently I right clicked the shortcut, then right clicked BetOnline, Properties, picked "Advanced" on the shortcut tab, then checked the "Run as administrator" box.

4) WOW the "someone just typed a message in chat" sound is loud and annoying. Fortunately you can turn the sounds down (or off) individually. All the other sounds are fine. I have no idea why they would have used that remarkably annoying one.

5) The lobby sort has become stupid. Sorting by a single column in the lobby, say players, basically gives you randomized stakes etc. The old software intelligently sorted the other columns.

Notwithstanding my complaints it's a huge improvement, and I certainly won't miss the blackjack table.

Ended up paying $202.50 in fees trying to deposit via Bitcoin. Transferring from Circle to BlockChain ate up $30, BC to BetOnline cost $2510 instead of $2500, and then a $162.50 fee on a $2500 deposit charged by BetOnline. Kinda annoying but the bonus is nice.

So is HoldemIndicator done now with the new HandHistory change?

Damn that's depressing.

Maybe if we all can ask them to lower the fees??? That's steep. That's the best part of Bitcoin was the low fees for sites...
Atleast change the fees for payouts. We get screwed twice now

They said they are working on a patch for the new BOL software upgrade. They also said player notes and stats should be saved once this is done.

Doesn't hold em indicator just work for 1 session or does it always remember stats?

it always remembers stats . It's simple but it works pretty well

So basically every tournament is a rebuy/addon. Seems stupid to even bother playing before the 1st break. Best bet is to buy in and addon to get 7000 chips at the break.

Pretty much how ACR is with some Satty tourneys. Better off entered last second with the add on. I haven't tried a Bol tourney yet but I assume it's similar.

Is there no sound notification for when it's your turn to act?

Im not sure I am at work. I do know it pops up for me when it's my turn to act. I also have the highlight feature turned on.

I do know there were a ton of sound features you can turn off or on

So I emailed them and they said that for credit card and bitcoin, they cannot waive the fees even for large deposits. Pretty rediculous considering BTC payment processors don't take big fees usually.

Only hope is more traffic and complaints so they cut back on the fees.

Honestly I don't know. I assume they have fees since traffic isn't as high as ACR or Bovada

I would recommend Bitcoin. Super easy and fast. The fees sort of hurt but at this time I think that's your best option for higher deposits. Email support and see if there is anything they can do to help w the fees.

deposit using Moneygram and if its over $300 you get the fee refunded to your poker account. wayyyy better than allowing them to rape you with 6.5% on a bitcoin deposit.

I'm pretty sure Sharkscope doesn't track starts betonline? Anyone have an idea were you can find them?
