How's the sportsbook on here? I have no experience in sports betting but I'm starting to look into it a bit. I've had a WPN and BOL account for years, although I don't think WPN has a sportsbook. Anyway, I thought since I'm already on BOL it could be a place to start things off after I do some research and study.

Any other sites come to mind for someone like me? I know a lot about sports just not a lot about sports betting (yet). I like baseball and football the most but am also getting interested in golf. I play poker regularly at the 25nl and 50nl level currently, and am getting ready to take a 1/2 live shot after I get a little more experience with pots that big since I've only ever played online thus far.

Does anyone have any experience using handconverters, like advanced chico converter, on Chico/Betonline?

It looks like on their TOS they prohibit the use of Handconverters but it looks like handconverters like Betonline Hand Grabber have been running for years so not sure what their stance is? Is it just prohibiting the use of grabbing hands without sitting in the game or am I missing something?

Most folks running PT4 requires a handconverter to play on the site so unsure if this is just them trying to ban datamining on observed but unplayed hands or they are just banning hand history conversions altogether.

I just got a new computer the other day and the BOL client keeps crashing fairly quickly multiple times. I am able to play with the browser version just fine it seems.

I never had this issue with my old computer, but now I'll be playing and all the sudden I'll just look up and my BOL tables and client are gone, no error message or anything. Any ideas what this could be? Like a setting I need to change that is the default for new computers?

Check that on the "video" part of settings "opengl_software" is chosen and not D3D8, this fixed the problem for me when I bought a new computer and was having the same issue as you

Oddly, I'm noticing an increase in traffic in what are the earlier morning hours for me (It's almost 7am EST now).

As it should be until they revert their rake back down to a reasonable level. It would be crazy if traffic had actually stayed the same or increased after they increased their rake to that insane level back in March. When factoring in rakeback and rewards the effective rake you're hit with playing at GG is probably cheaper than this network at most stakes.

The state of the games is actually very good lately, at least for PLO, I can't speak for other games. There has been an influx of recs - and not just the passive ones, the horribly, spewey ones that allow you to win way above what you should be able to. These players generally prefer to join a game that is already going. I would encourage you to try to start a few more games. There are too many players on the site unwilling to do so and I think it's almost as big of a problem as the rake.

I know there is no rep here anymore unfortunately (Chris was great and helpful) so this probably won't get to those whom it may concern
But am I the only one that thinks the MTT schedule as it is, especially in terms of starting times, makes no sense at all?
I am a EU player with a dayjob so it does make sense I have little good action except on weekends
However filtering for $2-$22s for example - why does 3-5am (depending on timezone) USA have a better schedule than afternoon EU (which is like 9-11am USA)? This just makes absolutely no sense. It seems like Chico didn't realize even by now there is a substantial amount of european players playing on their network too by now.

EDIT: Actually nevermind, this was always my thought that I never posted. Now I just had another look at a filtered lobby and they just replaced everything with their overraked Mystery Bounties. They always used to have a good schedule of small GDT MTTs, but seems like Mystery Bounties will take over

There is no in house rakeback. You can only get rakeback if you signed up through an affiliate.

Question on BTC payouts. Can you withdraw directly to Coinbase without getting in trouble with them? I know you couldn't do that with bovada, ignition, or global. A rep said that many players do however they aren't liable should Coinbase choose to take action against your account.
