There isn't a representative that is currently active in here. Your best bet to see a change is to put your feedback in the suggestion box associated with the site you play on. I have a feeling that's where a bunch of those survey questions came from.

Maybe so, but if I was trying something like that and it identified about everyone playing as a cheater , I’d sure do a little more research before sending out mass emails saying people were cheating and threatening fund seizures and then being coy about what programs broke the rules.
And I honestly have no thoughts about any refunds but just tossed that in.

If they went completely anonymous or added the ability to constantly switch your nickname then I would definitely move most of my action elsewhere.
I'm probably done too if they go mostly anonymous. The PLO bots already crush the games and that's even with some of the savvier regs being able to exploit their few weaknesses. If they're allowed to run freely without even the benefit of knowing who the bots are, then it's basically pointless even playing PLO.

Making the tables anonymous will make it impossible for the players to police the games. This is why I left Bovada. Whether I was being cheated or not, it always felt like it.

Too much typing, not enough proofreading.

This is pretty cool and unexpected! We can't post in the forum yet. Let's all hope the tagline for their forum is correct. "We're here to listen. Help us build the best poker product in the industry."

I don't have an opinion either way on it being a mistake - I was just suggesting it as a possibility. But your post doesn't make me think it any less likely. If their tests were going to give a false positive, I would expect there would be more than one. If they were going to email someone they shouldn't have about this, it's not surprising it would be more than one person.

A mistake is almost always more likely than a lie in situations like this. Whether that's actually the case here, I couldn't say.

Try to be a little more optimistic. I don't believe they're just going to start seizing everybody's funds. Their survey shows they're trying to improve their games, not scare legitimate players away. If you feel uncomfortable with the current situation then I advise you to make a withdrawal like several others said they were going to do. I think it's unnecessary, but it's your money.

Wow!!! That's huge news. Hopefully the reps will be a little more receptive to improving the bot situation than the WPN reps were.
Hehe... chill out dude.

At least there's an official response. It seemed like their email was a fishing expedition. Someone owes me an apology!!

This is Mike from Financial Services, I hope this email finds you well.

We thank you for the information provided on the potential BOT players as we do not permit them on the Network. We are in the process of the investigation.

Please be advised that as long as you do not make use of any BOT, AI, GTO or Seating Script software your account will have no issues with the Chico Network. Software like Hold’em manager is allowed

We hope that you find this information useful. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you just move the $11 rebuy 10k gtd to an hour or two earlier you wouldn't have to lower the gtd. It runs until like 2am central right now.

The tournament was magically moved to one hour earlier for tonight! (7:30 central)

The GTD is still lowered to $7.5k but I think it should do better at this time slot. Last night (old start time) it got to ~$8.5k prize pool.

Maybe someone is listening in here...?

Haven't received an email yet (I use PT4+cardcatcher).

Has it ever been officially established that HUDs are/aren't permitted? The exact wording of the rules section appears to be intentionally vague and ambiguous when it comes to the issue (they don't even specially address the word HUD or HM2 or PT4).

Hi, I'm brand new to Betonline.
1) Seat assignment - Is there any way I can designated that I always want to be in the bottom center seat either thru the client or with 3rd party software?

Thanks

Read up the thread, the Betonline rep specifically said apps like HM were ok and he spelled out what kinds of programs were not.

Ok, I decide to write here as I did wrote to their support for already 2 weeks, gave to them strong proofs that there are bots on windfall tables, and all what they did say is - under investigation.... but my proofs are that good that they should kill all bots in half an hour! Now I am scared if all these bots are their bots to boost traffic. Nothing else logic can be... Here are list of bots which got obviously AI plays. I will not say which bugs they got, as even bot owner is reading this forum, will just post screen shot where after all my proofs, they gave me even stronger one, they went all sit out on all buy ins at the same time! Plus they play 24/7 and they NEVER play each other! I will probably send suggestion to their poker licence about all this, as this is getting sick! I did send about 15 videos as proofs, wrote to them all details, and still - BOTS online absolutely 24/7!

I figured it out. I'm not seeing an auto preferred seating option but so long as I right click on the seat of my choice, I'm able to rotate the table to my preference.

I wouldn't take this post as anything even remotely official. A response like this from low-level support (let's face it CS on this network has been very unreliable in the past) on a network that is threatening confiscation/bans to such a large # of people probably isn't the most reliable thing to listen to, that's just my opinion.

I'll continue to watch from the sidelines until there is better information, especially regarding hand converters because you can't use Holdem Manager on this site without one.

Chico needs to issue some type of statement stating it was an error if it was, no reason for making everyone afraid to touch their site.

Your frustration is understandable. I would just advise you to try to communicate in a more professional way. It usually results in a better outcome and less frustration than the opposite approach. You're usually communicating with front line customer support and not the decision makers. I know if you called me a liar I'd be less inclined to help you with your concerns.

Also eat healthy, drink lots of water, get exercise, get plenty of rest and increase fiber intake.

Given that they will have a dedicated forum soon I think it's definitely possible that somebody saw your post and decided it was a good idea. It's nice to see a network take their players' suggestions into consideration.

I don't play that game type so I can't confirm or dispute what you're saying, but I have no reason not to believe you. Bots have become a significant issue in almost all game types across online poker at many sites. Please keep the thread updated with any developments going forward.

Yeah, right clicking on your desired seat does appear to be necessary to sit where you want at the table. Preferred seating is one of the few common features many other networks have that appears to be missing from this one. If you'd like to see them add it then I would suggest you make a request for it in their suggestion box.

Your view of the situation and hesitation to play makes sense as their has been a lot of confusion about this. A clarification email with the stated prohibited software like in the one that was sent to CRUDEFINDER sounds like a reasonable request to me.

The problem is if you got a warning and didnt use any of the stated softwares. While in the warning they wouldnt say what kind of software they detected. So what am I supposed to do now? If they "detected" a software while I was playing last week they still will detect one now since I wouldnt even be able to change anything.

My thoughts exactly NIN. I guess we just wait it out. Their new sub-forum couldn't come sooner. Clearly at least someone from BetOnline is reading this forum at this current time. Step it up guys. We need some transparency. You can't just send out a threatening email like that without an explanation/apology if it was an error on your end (which seems to be the case).

I did receive and email too and im only using a hand grabber, holdemmanger 2 and stack and tile they did not even say what prohibited software i was allegedly using since they probly don't even know and just try to scare people sending mass email to the players pool.

I mean this is pretty ridiculous looks like they are shooting in the dark at legit players while letting obivious bots and scripters play all day. Having money on this network kind of make me nervous since last time I tried to cashout it took like 15 days to get it done via btc after multiple email to their support witch seems as clueless as it gets.
