Nope. Tried two. Netspend works every time. You can get them at walmart, cvs, 7/11, and load them and deposit immediately.

And Moneygram cash transfer at Walmart (and other places) is also super easy. Just call Bovada to get name of person to send to, go to walmart and send, call bovada again to give them transfer # on receipt

Do you mean that you can move your mouse off the screen, or just drag so that parts of windows are hanging over the edge? Because if it's the latter, then that's how it's supposed to work. Everyone can drag windows so that half of them are off-screen. If, however, you can move your mouse off-screen, then that means that your monitor and/or graphics card doesn't support whatever resolution your have Windows set to.

I just want to make sure about something with the poker points...

If I spend them on a tournament ticket, it has no effect on my bonus progress right?

For example, if I have 300 points and buy a 300 point ticket, my bonus progress would still be at 300 points?

Yeah, this.

Bovada checks work with my ATM deposit every time.

You are 100% correct sir. You do not have to save up all your bonus points to clear a bonus. You can convert them to tickets as soon as you reach whatever point you want and the software will remember all the points you've earned, not just what's in your account currently and unused. So go ahead and spend them and GL.

After what happened to Full Tilt do people actually trust Bovada? They've clearly emerged as the #1 site in the US with some fairly big games consistently running and should the DOJ go after them what are the chances everybody will get their money back?

Most trustworthy site for Americans (other than regulated sites in specific states) at the moment. Also, people got their money back, eventually, at Full Tilt.

Until we have licensed and regulated options for everyone in the U.S., there's always some risk, but it's negligible imo.

Join the daily action plan in the legislative forum so we can all play in a 100% safe environment

This is actually an old point by now. But the American DOJ has no power/jurisdiction to do squat to Bovada. That's why they even advertise on major radio stations. They've been paying out millions every year since Black Friday, so if you're going to trust and play on any U.S. site it might as well be Bovada.

Regulation is going to be the demise of poker.

+1. Politicians, for the most part, don't understand poker. They will not make good regulation for us. Obviously there are Cons to unregulated Poker but I feel that regulations make it slightly safer, but create bad platforms overall.

Truth!! I have been struck by how people are screaming for regulation! As if the government ever has made anything better. Same with all this crap with the FCC "open internet" regulations. I prefer the free market approach.... If a site appears to police its player pool (cheaters), pay out in a timely manner, and has a semi fair rake I will play at that site... If not, I take my business someplace else.

Probably not a surprise that I totally agree.

Would much rather have government regulations removed and sites like Bovada allowed to operate and compete freely.

Eliminating the extra expenses of moving money + competition between sites = lower rake and better service.

I'd prefer that to regulated sites being restricted by rules that were written by people who have never played poker.

Don't see that happening though... so second choice would be for them to just go around the banking issues by taking bitcoin.

At least having a fast and free method to deposit/withdraw lowers the risk to the player if something bad were to happen to the site.

I have always been pro-regulation, I've checked the legislation forum daily for years.... but im starting to think regulation isn't good for poker.Things in NJ don't seem all that great, and our govt is beyond horrible and corrupt, I don't trust them to do things correctly with regards to poker.
The federal reserve should be abolished of course.

Anyone else get the Bovada deposit offer yesterday?

Best offer I have ever seen on Bovada.

200% Deposit Bonus up to $1,000.

Must get the following poker points within 30 days of your deposit. Deposit must be made by March 1st.

50 Poker Points = $25 Total $25
200 Poker Points = $75 Total $100
500 Poker Points = $150 Total $250
1000 Poker Points = $250 Total $500
2000 Poker Points = $500 Total $1,000

So if you deposit $125, and you get 500 poker points in 30 days, you get a total $250 Bonus, paid in the 3 increments.

The wording said "exculsive" offer, so not sure if this was available to everyone.

Anyone else get this e-mail yesterday?

Have gotten timed out of rebuys after I've busted not even asking me if I wanted to reload. Has happened sporadically 3 or 4 times in the past couple months. Not sure what is going on. Have tried waiting till it asked and also used the auto reload feature. Anyone else had this happen?

Regarding Bovada Poker Points, I know they are based on rake, but does anyone know how many poker points are earned, for every $1 you pay in rake?

Thank you.
