Ever since the sports ticker I get about 2 software crashes a day.

I'm sure Bovada is aware of this . Their lack of caring about poker players requests will be their undoing .

Traffic will start moving elsewhere slowly but surely. GET RID OF THE SPORTS TICKER!!

Maybe their goal with the sports ticker is to tilt you enough from the crashes to just put the whole roll on the Browns week 1.

Don't you guys just minimize the lobby after you get your tables up? The sports ticker actually didn't crash this time around, and I barely notice it.

No, I leave the lobby up at all times on my other screen so I can watch the games. The ticker makes it lag really bad and hard to get seats. I'm more worried about the POS BJ and sports button on the tables though.

Those are the worst. It was bad enough with the BJ button. I'm constantly checking tournament lobbies deep for bubbles etc, and I misclick those things all the time.

I don't play many MTTs so this may be a statement out of ignorance. But, there's no ticker on the MTT lobby windows, and since there's a bug where the payouts don't update if the lobby window isn't left open, I don't see how the ticket is an issue?

The problem is where the non-working BJ and new (yet still non-working) sports button are. When you click lobby to check the tournament lobby it pops up over top of the buttons and it's very easy to misclick hit them. Sometimes the table switches as you click the lobby drop down and it takes the drop down away and hits the buttons. If you just leave the lobbies open that isn't an issue, but that's kind of a pain to do if you're mass tabling MTTs. You don't have to leave the lobby open all the time for them to update, just like 10 seconds.

They don't work, so what is the point of having them?

I was replying to the guy talking about the sports ticker being an issue and the reason it was an issue was because he played MTTs.

How does 10NL 6-max compare to 10NL zone in terms of rake and for grinding a BR with 30 buyins?

Is it even worth messing with the micro stakes or are the 5% rake SnG's a better option for building a BR from around $300?

Could you position tables and/or lobbies to prevent this? I've always tried to position things to prevent misclicks when tables pop up although if you have enough tables going depending on your setup maybe that's hard.

And on you sports ticker/Browns week 1 theory I think you are partially right. The Browns are a lock for week one so I think they want you to put your roll on the Browns to win the Super Bowl. Probably better odds too.

Are you using a Mac or PC? Which OS are you using? Have you check your CPU status?

While I agree that most income is sports / casino, just recently I was taken care of from their horrible software issues. I actually haven't seen any other post reporting a refund but last night I had a 50$ husng. Was disconnected while playing another table. 1 table was working fine the other had the dreaded "disconnected" faded screen.

I emailed support (and noted how much I have raked for the site this month, maybe irrelevant to the result but figured it couldn't hurt) and today got an email saying I was refunded for this sng. Sure enough 52.50 back in the balance.

To be honest I am shocked. I was pretty tilted by this disconnect, typically they come back to connected within a minute or so, I was basically just venting to support. Like I said I haven't seen this happen cbefore at all but figured since 90% of posts are tearing bovada a new one (and for the most part completely deserved w the horrible software issues) I felt I should post the "one time" sng refund.

Yep, anyone who has played on here for years knows this to be the truth.

First, they NEVER cared ... I can think of dozens of examples, including the reload button that took 1 1/2 years to fix, etc.

Second, b/c of black Friday they have even less of a reason to care.

The ONLY thing that could seriously hurt their business is if the payouts stopped (but right now they have the best for offshore) or if there was a major major major cheating scandal that involved the site.

Seriously, complaining about little things like the sports ticker, no sync breaks, getting disconnected in the middle of a tournament, or going down once a week for a few hours is pointless.

It is what it is, if you don't like it then don't play here

Does anyone know if Holdem indicator works on zone tables? I assume it doesn't since you get a new player number each hand. I guess it would be most useful on MTTs and cash games. Any information on holdem indicator or any other tracking software compatible with Bovada would be appreciated.

I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it to buy HI or if there's any other tracking software that works on Bovada.

It does not work on zone.

You can use Holdem Indicator on Bovada, or you can use PT4/HM2 if you also have the Bovada Card Catcher app.

I tried the PT4/HM2 route with the trial version of the card catcher but it was just too buggy and not smooth enough for my liking, so I uninstalled it. Will probably just get Holdem Indicator in the future, even though PT4/HM2 are much better than HEI.

Thanks for the response. I was hoping it would work for zone because I put most of my volume on there. I base my reads off of how people play in general. Which can be very difficult and aggravating since I have no clue who each player is.

I think I'm going to try using PT4 with bovada card catcher. And just play the cash games. It just sucks only being able to play 4 tables max w/o zone.
