Has anyone in the US tried using MypaylinQ to deposit onto bovada and withdraw? I'm thinking about opening a mypaylinq account but do not know how much of a risk it would be to do so.

Never heard anything bad about them. I would Google them and see what you can find. Search Mypaylinq complaints or something like that.

sorry to sound ignorant, but what does trolling mean?

Does that mean you're actually serious about pulling all your money out because the DOJ seized an inactive domain?

I used them once. I think the fees were pretty high. I only deposited once via MPQ, never withdrew. I think Bodog quit using them before they switched from Bovada fwiw.

We all know playing on ANY site right now that faces US players is risky. People want their online poker though, some are willing to take the risk, some are not. Some are more eager than others and run up a roll only to pay a 20% vig in the transfers thread to get it off quick, as opposed to others waiting the 3-6 week timeframe for a withdrawal. Both have their ups and downs.

Oh yeah about Bodog. I feel and by talking to others that this is a scare tactic and doesn't mean much. Remember, the US is still pissed at Bodog from years back.

+1 everyone should be cashing out on a monthly basis of at lest 75% so they don't get robbed by the DOJ/HS/FBI or any government entity!! I'm just wondering what sites next?

I've been saying for months their real motivation behind anonymous tables is simple: attempt to avoid prosecution.

My guess is this may hinder their UK and Euro licensing attempts as well. Even if your not American I would seriously consider getting your money off sooner then later if possible, but that's just my suggestion.

I got my last ticket just after the change to Bovada (I am on bodog.co.uk). Couldnt enter the tournament with it, wrote to support numerous times and they literally did not even respond which seemed odd for Bodog.

Did Bovada people get the "convert your points to BPO tickets" email as well??

Will search the thread more but I couldn't find anything specific. If I am going to deposit using Rapid Transfer, and moneygram, do I have to do an in store cash transfer or will I be able to use moneygram same day service online transfer? FWIW my bank does not allow me to deposit on bodog or bovada and has locked my account in the past when I do so. Im curious if I could use online transfer on moneygram to use rapidtransfer to bodog without having to actually go to a moneygram place and cash transfer

Thanks

As mentioned, this was from Bodog, but might work for Bovadans as well seeing as it seems like a software thing (?):
Quote:
It's easy:
1.Log in to Bodog Poker.
2.Select 'Account' then 'Points to Tickets'.
3.Pick the satellite you want and click 'Convert'.
You'll find the schedule with all the satellites and key events by selecting the 'Special' tab under 'Scheduled Tournaments' in the Bodog Poker Lobby. The satellites are running now so take your seat today.
Not at home atm so cant test it.

Can anybody tell me how it shows up on your bank statement if you deposit with a debit card? A PM would be cool too. Thanks

Not sure if it's for everyone, but got an e-mail about a one-day $50 casino bonus today. Code is HUSH2. (HUSH1 is for slots.)

Actually I'm more confident in Bovada than ever. I mean when the DOJ and HS seize your .com and your customers are unaffected with 0 downtime, then you must be doing something right. Clearly whoever is in charge there has an effective long term plan to keep their business thriving. Good on them imo.
