Agreed. There should be no timebank for hypers. The 100-chip hypers scheduled throughout the day are pretty much unplayable because of the ******s who start running their whole timebank on the first or second hand of the tournament. If this was not possible, I would play every single one. But because of this, I don't play them at all.

How long is the timebank? I think on hypers you should have ten seconds tops to make a decision. Especially when you could be in a huge disadvantage if someone takes forever on the first or second hand and then the blinds go up and your next for the blind.

After about an hour or so of playing Bovada freezes (win 7 64bit). I close and try and reopen the software, but I can not connect to Bovada and I have to restart. Anyone else have this issue and find a solution? Also I am hardwired and streaming 'videos' while playing so it isn't the internet connection. Thanks in advance.

My issue is that Bovadawill freeze randomly and after I restart I can access Bovada, but the last 5 times I've played I have had the software just freeze up on me and I was wondering if anyone else experienced this. Thank you.

Without getting into specifics, the checks don't originate from the US. They come from different countries.

Be a huge mistake if you ask me. You could get perma banned by the site's "big brains" for making two accounts. Email the site. The answers wont be as entertaining as you get here but you will eliminate the guess work.

I created an account like 5 years ago and used it like twice. After black Friday I tried to create a new account forgetting I had ever had one. I kept getting an error til I talked to security which told me I
Had an account already and after a few pain in the ass verifications I was up and running with money I forgot from years ago.

bodog

-sync your tournament breaks - come on.
-limit the timebank - you have people ruining the touranment stalling around the bubble in turbos....lots of fun.

Chad, I've noticed the latest version of the software crashing occasionally. Client was stable for months, but there's something recent that's making a close-error pop up. I'm also running Win7 64-bit. My best guess to this point is that there's a problem with their new note-taking feature. Hasn't happened when I didn't take notes. Has happened a few times when I did. It could still be coincidence at this point, but I'm a little reluctant to take notes as a result.

Do the accounts with rakeback still have it or have they done away with that all together now?

does anyone have any advice for a non tournament player on what tournament tickets to get with points?

I usually just get the 10+1 ticket but that's my preference. There seem to be a decent amount of 10+1 tourney ticket available options on there. I'm not sure about the best value but it'd probably be easy to calculate if you want to.

The $150+12 100k. It's probably the best value weekly tournament available to US players.

Roughly how many points have you earned? The 100K is a decent value but some of the tickets can be used for SNGs ($100+9 9man is the largest). The question is are you more comfortable playing a MTT or a SNG.

Credit where credit is due: I had a problem with a tourney ticket the other day, e-mailed them, they got back to me in a half-hour and compensated me when they could have told me "tough luck" but didn't. Satisfied customer.

Bodog(vada) customer service has never been a problem. Always been the best part about them. (Almost) everything else on the other hand is a different story...

I'm not talking about the checks, AFAIK it's the deposits, other sites at some point, that money has been hitting the U.S. Banks, that's why all these sites are getting shut down. At least that's part of the problem, my worry is how do we know that Bodog(vada) isn't doing the same exact thing. I think the remaining sites should let the players know that this practice isn't happening.

You have it completely backwards actually. The UIGEA only covers US financial institutions sending money to offshore gambling sites, not the other way around.

According to documents procured by the ex-Subject: Poker contributor, the investigation by the Secret Service began in 2009 and focused on international financial transactions to and from the US. Undercover agents opened accounts and deposited and withdrew funds in an attempt to uncover those involved in the processing of the financial transactions associated with the illegal gambling. Okay anyone had this happened? I purchased a tournament ticket at the store for points but bought the same one twice. The reason was because i saw after i click convert, my points were still the same and then I thought it didn't go through so i clicked again.

Then i noticed i bought 2 tickets. I spoke to support about this and they told me they cannot reverse this. Anyone had this problem where they bought a ticket twice because they thought it didn't work the first time? I wanted to use the points to buy something else but couldn't anymore because of this. Can't bovada just credit me back the points? I wanted to buy another ticket and not the same one twice.

I take it my bank somehow reversed the deposit? Do you think Bovada will ever figure out they didn't get my money? I am not going to say anything about it until someone contacts me on the matter. This is the first time anything like this has happened there.... And it reminds me of the phantom FTP deposits that never got debited. Hope this isn't the beginning of the end.
this is standard for any purchase I make with my debit card at bigger bank. It will be pending, then disappear, then it will post to my account few days later.
