I just started on Bovada. I'm sure it's staring me in the face, but how do you get reserved for a seat? I can't even see the full tables. They only appear for me to click on them when there is an open seat. I then click on the table and most times someone is already at the seat. It's a pain in the ass. I've gone through the setting thing 10 times already and can't figure it out.

So how do I see tables that are currently full? And is there no waitlist system?

Thanks.

You can't, and no.

no waiting list. The lobby isn't refreshed when you click on an available table and it is full. When you click on a table that has an available seat, it's will bring you to a table and there will be a red "sit here" button you click on. add your funds and you are ready to go.

To expand on this, allow me to rail on Bodogavada's horrible programming again...

The problem with this is that the software doesn't consider a table full until after a player has either posted a blind or chooses to wait until the BB to post. This means that a new player or players could join a table mid-hand, have a few players time out each street and the table could sit as "open" in the lobby for several minutes.

In the 1-1 limit games the all in player will win a % twice what is normal...all to keep game going for more rake..Many reg players who have played limit 1-1 know this..Was talked about in chat for years..

Does anyone in here grind the small stakes triple ups? Turbo or non-turbo, doesn't matter. I've had some success in the 3 dollars and am considering using them to build a bankroll/consider full-time grinding. Any comments/tips/strategies would be greatly appreciated.

If i wanted to fund my account with a VISA prepaid, is there anything specific I need to know/buy?

fwiw, I used my regular visa. I tried it Sunday night and it was declined. I tried it again Monday afternoon and it went through. According to their Web site, they use a bunch of different payment processors, so it's worth trying a regular visa at different times of day. It might go through.

Find me 1 other player who calls it "limit 1-1".

What we really need are spelling and grammar bots.

That's silly. They made you sign up every week for the last month one? If you find out let us know, that seems crazy.

Also, anyone win anything in the drawing?

Obviously I don't intend to stay on the 3 dollars; my bankroll is just in its severe infancy. I'd like to move up to the 8 dollar TU turbos then go from there.

you wont find much love/support for the micro grinders here....i would try moving away from the tripple ups....your not able to take advantage of the times u make it there or the times when u have a large stack on/near the bubble....u need to b able to go for first/2nd...check out the 4.4 beginners SNGs if u want to cash more often....what is it you like about the tripple ups?

i like triple ups. ill mix em in with a couple plo8 sngs keeps things fun. theyre pretty good value i mean you gotta take 1st in a regular sng to beat a triple up cash, 2nd is less and 3rd is much less.

I've been playing poker online for a decade now and really have no idea what he's talking about when he says that.

I have tried searching for this answer so I appologize if it has been addressed and I missed it in the 600+ pages of this thread.

My Bankroll dictates that play at the < $5 STT and MTT lvl. Is there any research into the best equity in the following games? Should I focus on only playing one of these for X amount of games until I have X amount of sample size to see if I am a "winning" player or turn profit? Restrict my games to just 2 or 3 of these? keep playing all of these until I get more of an idea to my sucess/win rates? In my very small sample size I have had the best ROI/ITM on the 2.20 and 4.40 games. Is there a reason for this? I imagine its b/c they are "beginner" and have a larger pay out structure. Are the "beginner" games "good" to have in your profile of games? I have found I am not ITM much on the STT $1-5 games. most seem to be turbo and I have found I dont do as well in these. I understand the larger the pool of players the higher the pay-out and possible equity. thats why I like the small stakes multi table sitngo's. continue grinding all of these until I grow my bankroll to move up to a higher lvl?

I am not looking to become a pro, I only play a few hours a day and not every day. rec player for sure, have purchased hand converter and poker tracker to help evaluate my hands etc. I understand what works well for me does not work well for everyone etc. I know I should play to win.. but atm I am learning to improve my play and looking for consistancy. My first goal is to just get ITM, then get 1st. I am never dissapointed in pulling down a 2nd-3rd place finish.

1.10 multi table sitngo 5 table
2.20 multi table sitngo 2 table
3.30 triple up - I put this in there b/c I started playing these the most/have the largest sample size but have backed off recently to play the other games more.
4.40 Muli table beginner sitngo 3 table?
5.50 two table double up. have not seen this fill when I have had time to play so far.

The only other game I have been playing in is the .02-.05 Zone.

Thank you for your time, and advice.

So I just bought a new 2013 MacBook Pro Retina Display and I tried to download the Bovada poker client but it would not let me open the installer....it states because it is from an unidentified developer...has anybody ran into this issue? or found a way around it?

System prefrences ----> Security

Within that menu there is an option you have to turn on to allow downloads from anywhere on the web.

Can't remember exactly where, but thats all you need to do.
