If one had an account at Bodog. Are they allowed to make a new account w/Bovada?

ie I had a Bodog account that likely hasn't been logged into since 2006. Am I eligible to make a new account at Bovada?

You probably will have the same account.

So are you on table #1 or 2 because those are the only 2 that appear to be running right now out of 800 entrants LOL

You probably have that account transferred to Bovada. I had an account from Bodog that hadn't been used since around that time and it got transferred to Bovada.

Is anybody worried, I was just reading the Everleaf story on pokerscout. They said that everleaf was using U.S. Banks, so the question is, if/is Bodog(vada) using U.S. banks as well if so are they next???

How would I even know if it were transferred? I don't recall the account name, email address, etc... it was created circa 2002/3? Any way to find out?

AFAIK Bovada doesn't use US Banks. It is beyond ridiculous for any site to do so after BF.

Yea, that's the thing. I don't use any of the email addresses I used in 2002/03. They are all defunct (those that I can even remember, I ran a few businesses back then and by their nature, used many diff emails/domains)

Quite frankly, I'd rather have a new account... So perhaps I should change my Q:

Am I allowed to make a new Bovada account if I have an old inactive Bodog account?

You can ask them, but I would just make one.

Anyone notice in heads up matches especially, the ALL IN player wins over 80% of the time especially on their first all in.. it's beyond anything I have ever seen in poker... I believe they do it keep rake going... small tweak... Have noticed it for years... The games feel like they are being churned most of the time to get all the money in rake.. Winning player here over 5 years, not a losing month... barely breaking even...Time to move on, site feels rigged now.. they made it clear they want all the money and I truly believe they have set the games up...signed cheated anonymously

Both were scheduled last night. The second (later) tournament ended up not running due to technical difficulties. So, if you were signed up for the second one then you should get whatever everyone else will get. Probably either a new tournament or a ticket of equal value. If you were registered for the first one then you are probably SOL. If you didn't register at all and still have at the ticket you might be good. Email support I guess.

My last deposit to Bovada via debit card was approved, I got the message that it was successful, and the funds hit my account. My bank statement showed the transaction as pending, but today the transaction is gone from my statement and the funds never left my bank account but they are still in my Bovada account. I take it my bank somehow reversed the deposit? Do you think Bovada will ever figure out they didn't get my money? I am not going to say anything about it until someone contacts me on the matter. This is the first time anything like this has happened there.... And it reminds me of the phantom FTP deposits that never got debited. Hope this isn't the beginning of the end.

My last payout check was from a non-US bank, but it had a US bank logo on it as well.

Do not post messages like this. Do you understand why?

I saw some pretty blatant chip dumping and collusion in a $60 satellite to the BDPO main event last night. Bovada says they're looking into it. Everyone should be on the lookout for this. The satellite only got seven runners. The seat is worth $450.

There appeared to be three people involved in the cheating. I first noticed it happening while four-handed (someone absurdly folded either on the flop or turn, I don't remember, with 1.5 big blinds left in his stack), but that doesn't mean I didn't miss earlier collusion. Then, when I got to HU with the guy the chips got dumped to (after I told him in chat "i'll smash you hu anyway cheater" despite his roughly 4-1 chip advantage), someone INSTANTLY late regged for the tourney and started colluding with the original dumpee. I called them out in chat, basically calling out every move they were about to make before they made it, and the dumpee suddenly folded and gave chips to his partner, leaving me third in chips. (I actually think that in the moment I was mistaken about their plan, erroneously assuming the new registrant was just going to dump his chips to the original dumpee, which actually makes no sense. It's more likely that he gets some of the big stack's chips dumped to him in order to more effectively collude against me.) I was soon eliminated after the big stack called my turn shove with a flush draw and hit on the river. This is relevant IMO because he can make this call knowing that even if he doesn't hit, he can still collude with his partner to eliminate me later. I kept the lobby open...the tournament was over literally two minutes after I busted, which also smells fishy to me (since with a $450 seat at stake, in a winner-take-all situation, one would assume the HU match would be played a little bit closer to the vest).

(Mind you, $60 is not a big deal to me and this is not a product of anger over not winning the seat. I'm on a heater right now and couldn't care less about the $60 tbh.)

I will be recording all future satellites with Camtasia to try and catch this kind of activity and hopefully get these scumbags banned. This is the kind of activity Bovada needs to be protecting us against if they really want us to play anonymously.
