They told me there is nothing i can do and my account will be locked until i get back to the us. They said bodog is different company so nothing they can do.
What did Bodog say when you called them?

Not necessarily true. The last two checks I received were from a Canadian bank, and my bank (very large, national) wouldn't allow me to deposit them through the ATM.

Does anyone deposit with a credit union? I bank with one, but will open an account with a bigger bank if need be.

This.

Also, it might be worth sending a PM to Bodog_Ice to see if he has any suggestions. Just keep in mind that he is working for the network, not any of the skins, and that he is a liaison, not someone working in their offices. So he won't be able to help you directly, but maybe he can forward your case to someone that can help, or give you some advice as to who you should contact.

Of course, it could be that what you're being told now is the correct answer, and that you've been given incorrect answers up to this point. That would mean you're out of luck until you return, but I think you'd have an excellent case for them extending the expiration on your tickets since you made decisions based on incorrect answers they gave you.

The problem with this approach is that it's not what users typically expect from a check/fold option. Generally, that's just for the current street of betting, and then on the next street (or on the same street if there action is after your turn), there's a new set of options. The way that it's setup now it's essentially a "fold unless I get to showdown for free" button, which is pretty useless.

The other thing that's needed is a "sit out next big blind" option, and of course the ability to have more than one entry at a time.

I'm commenting without having seen this since I don't play on Bodog, but I'd agree with deemikey if this is a check/fold option right next to all the others like check, fold, etc. What Ice is describing sounds more like a "fold to any bet" option you see on a lot of other sites - it's usually put in a somewhat separate area from the other options, and applies to every street. Options that apply to the current street only should be separate from options that apply to all streets. If this is the way it's set up, then carry on...I'll get my coat.

Im a consistently winning mtt player on every site ive ever played except bovada, including merge, stars, ftp, etc. Im losing there over a long stretch. I realize, after much thought, that I'm not adjusting properly to the anon tables and crazy players. However I'm having difficulty figuring out the right adjustments to make.

I play essentially short stack, preflop games (turbo and regular mtts). The bovada players seem to be very loose and gamble-y. It seems SO hard to get deep in the tournies there as shoves get called constantly and you have to survive so many all ins. There are ridiculous calls, fish calling 10bb+ shoves from around the table with 78s, a2o, 97o, k9s, 22 etc, hands that are maybe 40/45% on average vs. our shoving range, and knock us out surprisingly often.

You get called so much, you have to fade all in after all in after all in..... its really hard to survive and go deep. I play the same style there that I win with on every other site, but I can't win on bovada long term, despite the higher fish count. Extremely frustrating.

Does anyone else have similar experience? Those of you who are crushing mtts on bovada, would you be so kind to share any advice or suggestions on adjusting play to conditions there? (feel free to PM) Thanks.

bovada is impossible to beat. its that simple. Play on a different site and you will be safe.

Does anybody know how many hands (sample size) the "% players per pot" and "average pot size" stats are based off? Sometimes it feels like just a few lol.

Also, is there a way to show the average hands per hour at a table? I havent found the option but worth asking I suppose

How many tournaments are in your sample size?

Here's a screenshot. The regular check and fold options are there, it's the big "CHECK/FOLD NOW" button which is the issue. Essentially this is a "go to next hand" button, which is fine in and of itself, but should probably be renamed. Unless you know better, it's not clear that you'll not be able to do anything further with this hand if you press the button.
