Browsing the tourney lobby this afternoon.

see the 69+6 4K gtd in late reg with only like 25 players.

Tourney needs 58 for no overlay.

This looks +EV, reg like 10 minutes after tourney starts.

Late reg is actually 2 hours, and by the end of late reg there's 69 total entrats.

Where do these people come from?

Assuming you're talking about the Punta ones, every single one of my bonuses (and the APS ones) over $10 has been divided up into weird amounts. Usually between $6 and $12 or so. They've all added up correctly in the end.

Pretty common, at least for tournaments in the $20 range. Everyone is thinking the same thing you are.

Who is buying in short stack with little or no overlay an hour and a half into the tournament, though? That's pretty LOL.

I don't even play tournaments but that overlay looked so juicy.

I register really late sometimes regardless of overlay. I usually have other stuff going on in my life that playing early in a tournament would eat up a lot of my time. Sometimes I'll register really late that half the field is already gone!! Granted you won't have a great starting stack usually around 8-15 bbs. You just got to know a solid push fold strategy. Probably not the most optimal tournament strategy overall but it works well for me. If I double up then it's worth for me to continue playing.

After 24 hours download the hand history which will include everyone's hole cards then you can either view it within Bovada (I don't like the way they display the data) or you can load the HH into this hand replayer that displays the hole cards beautifully:

http://onlinepokermanager.com/

Check the videos tab to see how it works.

Can someone explain to me, like I'm a 5 year old, how to do this? Thanks.

On the Mac, your HH files are hidden within the App file itself. Right click on the Bovada App icon and "Show Package Contents". Then drill down to MacOS/Hand History/[your account number].

Is there a place you can see a record of the bonuses you've earned? When I look at my cash balance, I can't tell what was deposited by Bovada vs. what was won at the tables.

Thanks!

It's totally believable. Nobody wants to play an anonymous AIDS/rake fest for any significant amount of money.

Plus the four players sitting right now are all me. So that can't be good.

Can't seem to get a payout request through. Probably because it's a Sunday and the traffic is slowing down the client.

If you go to the cash ledger, you should see them. Almost all of mine show up as "undefined" (a couple of them have shown up as other things, don't recall the exact wording). For example, my last $30 from last week (the difference between the $50 level and the $20 level) was deposited as 3 separate amounts -- $15.40, $10.60, and $4.00 -- all labeled as "undefined".

Actually...I just figured out what it's doing. When I buy into a table, it's basically crediting to my account to pay my way in. I played a $14+1.40, a $10+0.60, and the rest went towards whatever I played after that. The times where I didn't play something for a while after reaching the bonus levels were probably the ones that showed up in my ledger as something else.
