Thanks Kahn, I guess I should have mentioned I don't even have the hand grabber program yet! Is it free? I know Google is my friend, but I like to get advice and feedback from the regs on here.

Hey guys. My new laptop crashed for the second time so this weekend I am going to get a desktop with 1 large monitor to multitable, or two monitors with a splitter. By chance does anybody know what size monitor I would need to easily fit 4 Bovada tables without having to use software such as placemint. Would 24" suffice or 27"? Anyone know? Thanks.

I think 20" works if you make the tables smaller. If you tile them 17" works. Depends on how big you want the tables.

I don't mind shrinking them some. I would like to be able to shrink them and still run holdemindicator on each table at the same time. As long as I don't need to use placemint I will be happy. I don't want to tile I really want to be able to glance from one table to the next at any moment and have all 4 in front of me at all times. Can I do that with a 24"? Looks like Best Buy has a lot of packages with 24" monitors.

I just found out the Bovada hand converter is for cash games only. I play cash on ACR, the main reason I am making a deposit on Bovada is to play tournaments. Any idea if/when a hand converter will be available for tourneys?

There is a thread for the hand converter in the software section.

The creator posts there.

You can try reading that to find your answer then ask yourself if its never been asked.

does the hand converter allow you to see oponents hands as soon as they muck?

before? as in, I can now see his card if he raises I'm gonna fold? Or "before" as in all action completed he's mucked his hand.

Reel him in, Halstad, before he gets away

The converter does not work real time, there is a 24 hour delay before you can get hands from Bovada. So, no, it can't show mucked cards during your game

Not with the hand converter, but you can see mucked cards immediately. They're available in the in-client hand history.

yes, but has a high monthly subscription fee.
theorectical max ROI =11.1% after fee, based on (lack of) high limit games.

obviously ROI goes up when Bovada gets more players.

and of course, the author will charge more if u get the program later. but current subscribers are grandfathered at the current rate.

That was a reasonable question Coke_man.. If it doesn't show the HH real time then its kind of pointless. I knew that Bovada has a delay before they release hand histories but since on only check the forum every now and then I thought something had changed. If there is still a delay then what is the point of having the HH converter?

Not sure if you are aware that Bovda/Bodog tables are anonymous, ie no screen names.

The converter is needed to format the hh's to input into hem/pt.

Some ppl like to track their progress for record keeping/tax reasons. Some people like to analyze their own game for self improvement. Some people like to track their play to determine if they're getting a fair deal.

So yes, some people feel like there is a point to be able to input their hands into some type of tracking software even without the ability to do it instantly.

If the hand goes to showdown, yes. You can see mucked losing hands in the client immediately. Not if everyone folds before showdown and the winning player decides not to show his/her cards.

My credit cards have always worked in the past, but now I cant put any money on Bovada. Once I put my cc info in it goes to a weird screen and gives me a phone number I need to call to get verification. I actually called the Visa phone number and it did no good. I still couldn't deposit.

what is going on? Are the days of playing on Bovada over?

You need to call your bank/credit card and have them enable international transactions first. It will auto-block the transaction if you don't, since it's from China.
