I was just playing a cash game on my laptop and the total pot seemed weird so I hovered my mouse over the words Total Pot to see the amount of rake taken out, but there was no rake info. Was I hovering over the wrong place? Has it always been this bull crap way of no info on rake removed from pot or is this a new scumbag move?

It has never shown rake removed and not sure I've ever seen that on a poker site, but to be fair I haven't really looked

Plenty of sites do when you hover over the pot. I just couldn't remember if Ignition did before or it was another update bug. I don't currently have an other poker sites downloaded on my computer, but if you do, then just for grins hover over a pot and see what happens.

Is it me or is the time taken to send the pot to the winning player ever so slightly faster?

I haven’t played from my laptop in a month or two. The last time there was an update a while back I had some issues with my computer saying that it would not open the bovada poker client because it wasn’t safe. I don’t remember how, but I was able to get that fixed.

Fast forward to today. I had some free time and was planning on playing some MTTs. It says I have to update. After the update, when I click on the desktop icon, I now get a message that says “Error:error copying file c:\Program Files (x86)\Bovada Poker\update_20190505191853\v8_context....

It keeps going a while. Then at the end it says the requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open: c:\Program Files....

Anyone have a clue what this is or how to fix it? Extremely annoying.

I’ll try that next time I feel like playing. But that didn’t fix the issue last time When I kept getting s message that the poker client wasn’t safe to open. I can’t remember what I did exactly, but uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix it.

This is a different issue so it’s possible it will correct this issue.

Sometimes when you download something with Window a screen will pop up saying it is unsafe to download. That sounds like what you are talking about for your older problem. On the Windows pop up it should say something like "advanced". Under the advanced option you have the option to over ride the Window warning and download anyway.

anyone else feel like the games are overrun with bots recently? since WPN cleaned the bots out the play has changed significantly - tighter nittier at low stakes it seems.

i play a bit higher but havent seen anything that really fits the wpn bot profile for a while now. i also cant imagine leaving a program unattended while it gambles my money on a site with this many connection and software issues

that being said im sure the number of bots is >0 and standard cheating like card sharing, multi accounting, and real time software is common

what a time to be alive

ps wpn has banned very few if any cash bots and maybe 5 mtt accounts. still a trash fire over there

lol, I play on both and

1. WPN has done nothing about bots
2. how can you identify a bot over tiny samples?

No one who posts about bots on ignition has ever attempted to answer #2 to me

the fact is that ignition destroyed their own games with a horrendous update and this is the time of year when traffic starts to decline naturally anyway.

There are a number of sites that show rake removed from the pot.

They post the rake schedule openly on the Internet. Every site on the network posts this information. Many other websites collect the rake from multiple poker sites and produce aggregate information, replete with charts and all kinds of **** for comparison's sake.

In other words, this information is readily available. In the time it took you to post and complain about it, you probably could have found the rake fee schedule

Well he does play much lower stakes than you Tgig and thats probaly where the majority of the bots tend to frequent on ignition, the scumbag forums i've read in the past where they're showing winrates for cash games and tourney scores are low stakes

that's fair. when I was coming up through 50nl I always wondered who the decent regs were and why they were at 50nl. always figured they were just going through the stakes like me but bots are certainly possible. I still question how anyone is recognizing them as bots in very small samples. I'm far from an expert in detecting bot tendencies, but the people who do seem good at it still have to analyze a 1k+ hand sample to draw conclusions.

In the time it took you to make your post, you should have been working on your reading comprehension. The gest of my post wasn't about rake schedules, but was about whether pre-update the rake withdrawn was shown with a mouse hover. Further backed up in my subsequent post #54504.

I actually like ignition a lot in its current state. I couldn't play zone before without getting a headache and now it is very clean to me.

How many hands/hr are you guys getting an hour two-tabling on zone? I feel like it is much faster than a couple weeks ago but not certain and my volume's been almost non-existant since the update. Only recently started putting in a lot of hands.

they need to change the fast fold location. cause if you click it right as it's your turn, the check/call button slides up, and is clickable as it's sliding. easy to misclick.

There's a group of people/bots playing all the HUSNGs lately that seem to be using real time assist or something fishy, the games have changed dramatically in the last week.

are they planning to update their casino with a more modern look? probably wouldnt hurt. i watch some of the slot streams on twitch and most of ignitions games are dusty as hell
How did you find ignition slot streams on twitch?

btw according to pokersitetraffic.com - Ignition get 760,000+ monthly users, how many of those are for poker? I'm guessing most go there for the slots..

btw that 777 Deluxe game I often see the jackpot climb to like 300,000k and then reset, is that stuff real?

It seems like they have sped up the animation a bit and it is now running faster.

It would be nice if they could get rid of the mobile "swipe up" feature to get initially seated. But that is probably an important hard code to their way of doing mobile. However, when I play a tournament and am under the gun on the first hand, i often miss the hand, even when i click take my seat and swipe up quickly. Of course over the length of an entire tournament missing one hand isn't the end of the world, but getting seated faster in the computer world of 2019 seems possible.

Those poker site traffic numbers seem interesting and show there is room to grow depending on what countries are grouped together.
