Are you sure it wasn't just them posting bb+sb?

I may be in the minority here, but I play up to 16 tables now fairly fine. This is on three screens however. It’s definitely worse than it was before, but with them making stack sizes bigger I can fit 6 whole tables on the screen now and be fine, no longer needing to squat to see stack sizes. I do have to go more attention to bets because the single chip when someone calls/bets/raises. I’m not sure if there is some different between Bovada/bodog/ignition but on Ignition, I have never had trouble seeing cards or the buttons they have been over sized if anything since the update.

So there’s no way now post update to get the display of the total pot size before the player’s bet, is there?

not sure, didn't know they were displaying posts this way now. just had the action go: post $3, someone raises to $10, player who posted $3 calls and it shows him betting $11 now. folds to me in bb and it's $8 to call. super annoying they switched the way the dead bb is added to the pot

I though 4 tbls is max for every player how can you play so many?

Other question, did Bodog start banning some Bots or sth like that or why is the action going back a lot on PL1k/PL2k last few weeks?
Or is it just new software?

Feels like there is a lot less tbls runnin!

you can play as many mtt's as you want

tables are dead because everyone hates the new software. hopefully it's temporary or they make major changes

just me or the new software is much glitchier? closed an empty 4th table to try a different stake and now it says I can't open a 4th table because I'm already on 4 lol. tables getting stuck at 75% loading half the time too. were not only unpaid beta testers, we have to pay $ (in dc's etc) to test their new software for them.

just lost 10bb calling instead of folding because they made the call button appear where the fold button is a millisecond prior. would bet my roll no one who worked on this software ever played a hand of poker before or after creating it.

oh and if you timeout (like everyone is doing because no one knows when it's their turn to act) you don't get to sit back in. you have to wait for the BB. I sat out button by accident and missed the cutoff, HJ and LJ. that's probably the most absurd bug I've ever seen
Perhaps traffic is down as it's Easter. The fold/call button has been rectified for a few days now. Likely when they added a black table.

Are you playing zone tables? Because on sng and MTTs it’s still fold into call position

How much CPU does the Ignition client typically chew up for you guys?

I'd never checked until today when my computer was lagging super hard. Said I was maxing out at 100% CPU and from what I could tell it was as if there were multiple instances of the Ignition client running at the same which was really weird. There were like 10+ listed in the 'Background processes' tab in the task manager. Just restarted my computer and Ignition's CPU load is hovering at around 8-10%

I waited for a bit to see if things would change, they haven't. Pulled my money off the site and will not be returning, I'm likely done with online poker now (and poker in total considering I'd rather eat razor blades than play live). I can't imagine this software change was anything other than an intentional attempt to kill poker on that site, and to get all the degens feeding their carnival games instead.

GG

Perhaps traffic is down because bots aren't calibrated to the new UI yet :/ It would have been interesting to see traffic numbers directly before and then after the patch

bots would have been up and running day 2. the software is garbage and traffic usually declines this time of year anyway

so I just folded the river to a bet HU, checked the HH immediately after and I was able to see my opponent's hole cards (only V, not everyone who folded pre)

L O L

welcome to ignition, where you can fold and see your opponent's cards in real time anyway

Did they open to $3 or did they miss their blinds and post. Before the update it would separate the two, showing the big blind amount in front of the player as a bet and the small blind added to the pot. After the update I've seen someone post both blinds and it shows the sum of both in front of them as a bet. Preflop betting mechanics remained normal. Only the displayed amount was wonky.

The pre-action fold button being where the on-you call button is still true for non-zone cash games as well.

Okay but it still would have been interesting to see the day 1 numbers. I'm unable to reproduce seeing opponents hole cards after folding, can you reproduce this?

Yeah this. Regs will put up with it. My own attitude is I'll load a client that requires an MS-DOS emulator if it means access to good games.

This isn't true for recs.

of course the games are softer right now, it's basically only playable on mobile. and as much as I like money I also like being able to see the turn card so I'm not risking my money until they fix the most egregious stuff. I'm assuming the games are better because a lot of regs feel the same about the software, not because bot makers can't adjust to a layout change that they had advanced notice of (and even had screenshots so they could start work before the release)
Clearly you are a shill for the site.

just an fyi, i posted a few days ago about playing while travelling, and just received this email from them

"Thanks for contacting Ignition Casino Customer Service.

You would still be able to access your account while traveling. Just access your account as usual with your email address and password.

Please reply with the country that you are traveling to and approximately how long you intend to stay so that your account can be updated.

Should you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Best Regards,"

emailed them where i will be, so if anything if they try to ban me i'll just show them this.. at least think i'll be able to get my money off if something happens. fwiw i already had a registered USA account, when you log in it says you can still log in while travelling, so hopefully this works out.
