Ya the SEC has done a great job regulating banks and the financial industry ....................so hilarious ! The NVGC also allowed a known major cheat in the online poker industry to be a major part of the "first legal" site (iovation/greg pierson) . The government regulated version will be much worse than what pokerstars offered us and currently offers the rest of the world !

Well it would beat the environment we're in now. I'm not arguing it would be better than Pokerstars, just better than things are now.

I called support again once I read the email and explained to them again that I was charged in May the first time and again this past week. After giving me the run around for 45 mins he finally said that the support team hadn't reviewed my email yet(but they already sent a reply) and that I'd get a resolution in the next 1-4 hours. We'll see what happens.

The support rep tried to play it off like the charges just took a month to come out of my account when I had clear evidence that I was charged in both May and June for deposits I made in May. Hopefully I get my $500 back. GL to you Idun. If they don't refund me I'll post all related evidence so other players can see what happened.

Good thing you didn't (not sure if that was a scam too)... He's a serial scammer and got banned.

Did anyone notice when viewing hands in Holdem Manager replayer, opponents' hole cards are no longer viewable. You used to be able to see everyone's cards at the table.

I think thats from the update for the bovada hand converter. The holecards are still in the raw HH's.

Anyone notice the huge difference in the play of the 3/6 Omaha hi/lo game in the past week. For starters, it used to very rarely get a full table even on weekends. 2 or 3 players was the norm. On the occasions it did get full, it was very rocky and would break up once a few short stacks busted and left. On Tuesday and every day since, there are 4 or 5 full tables going at one time and if a new table opens, within minutes it will be full. The play is alot looser and more aggressive too with usually 2 or 3 players per table driving the action. Just wondering if anyone has any explanation or theory on why the player pool surged all of the sudden. What once was a pretty dead game now has some of the craziest action on the site.

What do you think is really going on? To be honest I think there's definitely something fishey going on with BOVADA. I've been playing online for 7 years plus and I just started again on BOVADA a couple weeks ago and I have never had so many coolers happen a day in my life. I only play 1 or 2 tables at a time so I know it's not the whole theory of "well in online poker you see ten times the hands." No no, The amount of coolers EVERYDAY may have happened within a weeks play on pokerstars in 5 times the amount of hands. Plus I only play SH not full ring. Also I was watching a guy on a 30/60 game start with 500, checked in on the table frequently while playing, and he ran it up over 12k and left...that was odd. I've only had a couple of days of playing multiple 30/60 tables for 8 plus hours and making that kind of money and this guy did it in 4 hours. And who knows, maybe he came back to the table 5 minutes later and crushed again. I'm not pissed or sour about BOVADA, I just think there's something fishey going on and therfore will not ever put anything back on there again. I advise others to do the same. So when you say there's all these 3/6 OH/L games all of a sudden, with all these new players, that just doesn't make sense. I guess this is easy to say when I can just go and play live, but I missed online poker, but not this much. Be careful people.

No one is scared of your warning because its completely baseless and fabricated.

Most of us download and track every hand we play.

Id suggest you do the same instead of just relying on your memory or useless gut feelings. They will deceive you. The numbers wont lie.

If you actually come here with numbers that backed up your claims we`d all take you seriously, but you havent and wont, so no one cares.

When I play, I get disconnected from Bovada every 10-15 minutes. I have to kill the program and reconnect. Sometimes the game is lagged. Tonight I got half blinded out when I disconnected and when I would re-open it, it would say I had no Internet.

This is NOT a problem with my Internet. I have dedicated fiberoptic and am playing hard-wired with my wireless radio off. I work from home for and use my Internet connection for VOIP about 45 hours a week providing tech support for AT&T. I know all about speeds, latency, and jitter and have to regularly test them .

I'm running Windows 7. Two things I have noticed which may have nothing to do with anything:
1) Somehow I set up a home network with sharing on my PC and when I do put my router in line (it's completely disconnected as a norm for work) and I connect up now instead of connecting to my router and specifying the password, I connect to the home network and specify the password I set when I set it up. I can't figure out how to delete it and go back to the way things were, but like I said I don't know if it has anything to do with it.
2) The Bovada poker program always ask me to run it as administrator, which I do. But none of my other programs ever prompt me for that and it's icon has the blue/yellow security shield on it on the desktop (?). And I only have one account on my PC which of course is an admin account, and my guest account is disabled.

This is all I know.

And that I need to have a site that I can trust so I can actually play with decent stakes.

Thanks!!

The 2nd part has nothing to do with the first part. The 2nd part you should post that or the entire thing if you want in the computer tech sub forum.

I was having a lot of disconnection issues, and it kind of happened all of a sudden. I could barely get through a one hour session without being disconnected multiple times, and having to restart client.

Someone in the thread suggested checking my firewall settings, and that did that trick. Not sure if this will work for you, but maybe check it out.
