Again with the "gamble for fun" nonsense. 5thStreet, no offense because I think you're one of the better posters on 2+2 but I don't like this one. Yes it's true that Bovada doesn't have a lot of the perks that online sites used to have (but are increasingly doing away with or at least minimizing). Don't expect the new sites that will be popping up the next few years as the U.S.A. comes back online to have the kinds of perks that were offered pre-black Friday. But my main point is this: before online poker were there no professional poker players? What brick and mortar poker room ever offered rakeback, VIP programs (the kind that gave cash back and not lobster dinners), mass tabling, stat collecting, etc? Answer, none. Yet even with tipping the dealers and waitstaff added to the expenses people still went pro by just one-tabling live with no HUD's or rakeback.
