All poker rooms are like that. It costs money for them to process your deposit. They hold your money until you rake x amount of dollars which is usually dependent on the amount you deposited.

Any suggestions on what to do? This whole situation seems fishy. It doesn't even seem legal what they are doing, holding onto funds and not even letting me forfeit the bonus?

Dont you have to enter some kinda code or something when you first deposit for the poker bonus? If so wouldn't that differentiate it from a casino bonus?

When I switched to Bovada from Ignition I asked the customer service rep on the phone this exact question, and he said that the bonus would automatically credit to my account, no need to select a bonus or input a code. Not sure what orenjeee's exact situation is, but if he signed up to Bovada then the poker bonus should be automatic

I accidentally used this welcome bonus assuming it was for poker only to find out that it is for their casino, which I will never use.

Who can I contact to switch that to some sort of poker bonus instead? Is there a rep here?

So what happened was I called them out on all their bull**** and backtracking and eventually got through to a supervisor who told me they were making an exception just this once and I ended up getting the 1k poker bonus.

Thanks for this I guess I'll try calling them and bitching a bit to get through to a supervisor too.

That's awesome that they ended up giving you the bonus to use in poker, as soon as I seen that my bonus was for the Casino only I just deleted it which allowed me to unlock my withdraws. Maybe not the best option but wasn't going to ever touch casino games on there.

Can anyone help me out with saving my Ignition ZONE Hand Histories. I am using acer poker solutions and their hand catcher, however am having troubles after having downloaded my histories to actually being able to get them in HM2. If someone could give me the steps would be greatly appreciated - Auto import works perfectly for regular tables but struggle to even find where these histories are being stored and read from.

Thanks in Advance.

Ok, crypto noob here again. Why doesn't bovada charge a fee for bitcoin deposits? From what I can tell, it's just a straightforward deposit from one's wallet into bovada with some minimal fee charged by the wallet and/or exchanger which doesn't accrue to bovada at all. Am I missing something here? Are they not charging a fee in order to incentivize deposits that wouldn't be made otherwise?

Also at what point does the $ become USD? What if I tell bovada I want to deposit BTC worth $500 and send that from my wallet but during the period of exchange the value of BTC changes one way or the other? From what I can tell you let bovada know what USD you will be depositing then your wallet sends the same, but what if you send the entire contents of your wallet and the value of BTC has changed in a short window, will you just deposit less on to bovada OR keep the excess in your wallet?

I wouldn't use coinbase. They've **** the bed a few times the last year with some of their policies. Again, might not matter if you aren't trading and just getting money to the sites, but it s what it is. I use Gemini. No problems with them at all so far.

So, my suggestion:
Deposit: Gemini-->Blockchain-->Bovada
Withdraw: Bovada-->Blockchain-->Gemini

Search this thread for EndTheFed's post. And there is a bitcoin deposit thread here somewhere he's posted in as well. Good info from him.
Missed this the other day; just wanted to say thanks for the helpful information!

downloading Zone hh isn't working for me right now, process is identical to regular so it's a problem on their end.

edit: actually it says that the HH are not being downloaded but they were in my file and uploaded to HEM fine. So your problem may be different.

Anyone else? The rep seemed pretty sure of this.

Hey all got a question. So i spoke to ignition on the phone and they said if you are in the US and those restricted states, you cannot create an account nor play on ignition. I asked them well what if you go to a nonrestricted state and stay there short term at an apartment/friend or airbnb in say california or florida for example. Thus create an account in that state and only play in that state. And of course use bitcoin to deposit/withdraw. Thus if you are in those restrictive states, you obviously don't log into your account etc. Thus if you go to california for a few months and stay at an apartment/house, you create an ignition account and play there. They said that probably won't be a problem but when you create an account, you put an address. So i said well well if you are staying at a short term rental, friends place or airbnb, you can use that address right? Then deposit btc and whenever you cash out, you cash out via btc?

They said that should be no problem because its btc. I said well what if you require id etc and then my id would be from another state in the us. They said well very rarely would they ask for id when its btc. But he seems to think there would be no issue with this. Has anyone here say stayed at another apartment or friend place in another state and then played created ignition account there and cash deposit/cashout with no issues? Like imagine you go to florida or california or any other state is not restricted and play there for a while. But of course if you go back to your state, then you dont log in or play there.

Am I the only one that it takes 10-45 minutes to get tables doing every time I sit down? It either puts me at empty tables that never fill, 2-3 handed tables, or sits at 97% and doesn't load? I play a lot, this is just unacceptable after they've been in business this long. 10 minutes a day which is WAY low for what it actually takes, is 61 hours a year wasted just getting tables open, that's right, over two days of my year are wasted OPENING tables.

I've prob got in a 1/4 of the volume last two months because of this. I recommend everyone else who plays these games to check hand histories from previous days and report them.

If the lack of action isnt because of colluding regs, i would be interested to hear why its impossible to get 4 tables of 10/20 no matter what time or day it is.
Yea I'm a former fish at these stakes (PLO) and cut my time playing by about 70% once they changed around the lobby to hide the tables... Now after the whole no chat thing I almost never play.

It's exceptionally frustrating too because you can hear the action at the non-visibe table (the folding swoosh, chips moving, raises, etc).

I'm unaware of any fix or trick for this, but it drives me nuts. Can't imagine I'm the only one who feels this way.
I've had it happen one time whilst playing a tourney and 2 sng's, the 2nd sng being the one that wouldn't fully load... So I had to restart the client. Well when I logged back in only the tourney lobby popped up, not the sng lobbies. Since you can't view running sng lobbies that you're not a party too, I wasn't able to get back into the sngs. I tilted shortly afterwards and lost the tourney, restarted the client, and both the sng lobbies popped... I lost those too lol.

if you complain that your tables never loaded they should refund you tourney tickets.

Hi, all. I've been away from ignition a bit and am super confused about the current rewards program. Tried to do my homework but can't find the answers to these Qs. (I'm also asking support but feel i've gotten some pretty confusing answers from them in the past.)

1) Does the program have a start/end/reset for earning miles and keeping your rewards status, or can you tier up forever (weird)?

Similar programs from other sites I've played would reset the rewards program at the start of each year, but that doesn't seem to be the case here since I'm silver and barely played this year.

2) If I choose to redeem my "current ignition miles" for cash, are those miles "spent/gone" and thus I move down in tier based on how many miles I cashed in?

Perhaps this is when they reset your status back to bottom level?

3) $2500 weekly freeroll tickets - The site states tickets are issued every Friday for anyone chrome level or above, yet, as confirmed by ticket issuance history, sometimes I am issued a freeroll ticket on Friday and sometimes not (I'm silver status). Is there a reason I'm missing that I don't get one every Friday?

Perhaps there's a limit to how many you can play in a month? Seems odd.

Thanks so much for any light shed on this stuff

*

Ah please delete/ignore this. I finally found the answer to my confusion: The ignition miles program is apparently for casino play only. I don't usually play there but played a ton of BJ earlier this year... and here I was excitedly thinking they upped their poker rewards.

In case anyone was wondering, it seems you redeem a # of your miles for a cash bonus, and the miles are "spent" and you may move to lower status tiers depending on how many you redeem. Emailing support to confirm / still not sure about the freeroll. Cheers-

So I have been playing on Ignition since we were forced to transfer for poker. I just deposited some money on Bovada to bet some March Madness games. Is it fine to play poker on Bovada without closing my Ignition account as long as I do the obvious and don't play poker on both accounts at the same time?
