Sounds like one of the scripts that run in your browser when you visit a website that uses your CPU to mine coins.
But you're right to be cautious at the first hint of anything.
If you want to be extra safe you can use a mobile wallet to generate the address that you're withdrawing to.
And overall it's a good idea when copy/pasting a bitcoin address to double check that the pasted address is correct. There is malware that will detect a bitcoin address on your clipboard and replace it with an attackers address.
