2 questions on disconnects.

1) when it’s a major hand, you just call support and cite hand/time?

2) (personal question for the thread) how many bbs do you just write off and accept as variance?

I normally just meh shrug it off when I raise get a call then disconnect. However today it happened ott in a rather large pot with me holding the nuts so will be calling customer service.

1. also pray

2. Calculate what an hour of your time is worth. Multiply by 2 to account for customer service variance. You now have X. If the money in question > X, call customer service.
If the money is < X, cry

Don't expect them to credit you anything for disconnects. The only time I bothered to call in was a very obvious spot where I'd never be folding and they didn't budge.

This has been my experience usually, but I have had a few times where a supervisor finally caved. Took a while though

Any sources for this?
Antes for all cash games would be awesome!

I do agree tho this is not really the place to discuss the state of the games. Anyone with half a brain wouldn't point someone else anyways let alone a stranger on the net to a soft game they were currently playing in for obv reasons.
So you lied about the possibilty of antes in all cash games?

I play mostly stts and they do credit 10 dollar tickets often without much fight.

What happens if I get more than one ticket to the 250k guaranteed next Sunday? Do they credit you for the value of the ticket? I already have a ticket and am wondering if there is any point to playing the free rolls again.

No MTT ticket can ever be converted to cash AFAIK.

I see your point in that if you were to find some unknown juicy 5/10 game on some untracked app you wouldn't want to mention it, but I'd argue that anyone who is good enough at poker to beat the rake at microstakes online is well aware that in the US its a choice between (1) soft games / no rakeback / low volume on Ignition and (2) tough games / high rakeback / high volume potential on WPN. The reason all the solid low/mid stakes guys on WPN aren't playing on Ignition isn't because its some well kept secret, its because they believe their hourly is much higher on WPN after factoring in volume and rakeback/the beast, despite the much lower raw bb/100 winrate.

On the other hand it would be super helpful for people like me and others in the thread who are working up the zone limits to know if/when there's going to be a big skill jump from one stake to another. I understand that no 5/10 crusher is going to comment on those games, but it would be interesting to know if there's a big skill gap between say 25nl and 50nl to prepare for.

At the end of the day its up to the individual to decide whether they want to talk about the games they play, but banning the discussion in the thread seems ludicrous especially when historically its been a common topic in here.

I'll bite. I've played probably 100+ hours at both 25NL and 50NL zoom, and although a skill gap is there it's not as wide as I'd expected.

Three bets are far less common at 25NL, and usually are the real deal, and you get a lot of players auto-raising buttons if folded to in 50NL, but far less so at 25NL.

I was surprised that a decent number of 25NL players seemed to have at least a passing grasp on bet sizing and position. At 50NL you get more players who don't release to a c-bet if they have KQ on a 10-9-4 board, whereas at 25NL that's almost always a fold from an opponent.

You get more spewy play at 50NL, making it more swingy but as much - if not more so - in a good way than bad. Both stakes have tons of draw chasers you can punish, plus in 50NL you find players who bet their draws on the come whereas I saw less of that in 25NL.

When using the bonus codes that they offer, did u have trouble with the roll over conditions for cashing out later?

Never had an issue. Just read the fine print about the requirements for every roll over.

1 make sure you make it clear this happened in a cash game. you will get a form letter response saying something about Tourneys. keep trying.

2 i dont think in terms of BBs thats dumb. $$$. and anything less than 50 bucks i would usually just let it go.

ive dced ina pot with the nuts on the turn and they refunded the money i put in the pot. dont accept anything less.

These idiots are destroying poker. They funneled everyone away from sports betting because they thought it hurt their market. The only reason I did sports betting was because my poker roll was linked to the site where I could sports bet. Now that it moved to ignition I don't sports bet at all. Good job guys, good move on your part. They also did anonymous tables, I am sure it dwindled their player pool after they made this travesty of a mistake. Now disabling chat LOL! They must hate money. Most of the people berating others in chat are the fish. The fish enjoy being berated as well... it is called bantering, it is human nature. We like to joke around with each other. This will hurt your traffic 100% just like your decision to move poker off of your sports betting site.

I think they brought bovada back so you should be able to do both on that platform.

They realized their mistake, yes you're right, I just realize in my head that I will have to eat fees to move money from one site to another and I know that I lose money in the long run sports betting so I think Bovada did me a favor when they made this change. They don't like money. I am sure I am not the only one who has done the same thing. I used to sports bet every other day too.
