If someone running windows 10 can confirm that they are getting the blue screen of death and not running Holdem Indicator, then I guess we can rule out HI as the problem.

I don't disagree with anything you said. What I meant by saying "I don't buy it" is that they say they did it because they "listened to the players" who asked for it to come back. The reason I believe poker is back on Bovada is for financial reasons.
I guess if you consider listening to the players the same thing as seeing their traffic dipping and changing course, then I guess what they say is true.

This company has consistently shown over time that they don't listen to the players and they would rather march to the beat of their own drum.

If they listened to the players they'd bring back the software they used prior to 2016 that ran miles better than the trash they have now. They also wouldn't have this quick seat cash games nonsense.

Same problem FIXED.

Uninstall. Search the hard drive for anything related to ignition and delete. Re-install.

Finally got mine running again after manually deleting all related files.

Also second the possibility that some of this is holdem indicator related.

I use HI and Windows 10. Of all the crashes I get this is the least common.

cant even get into the client (glad i didnt put a roll on to begin with) and all of this a day out from arguably the biggest fight in history at least in recent memory

discouraging to hear the phantom folds/checks still exist....loss of connection coinciding with deep runs in tournaments somehow is still a thing...which i made several posts about getting deep into a tourney playing for hours only to have my result gimped

when is enough, enough? im semi tilted yet sort glad i cant even get the client to run even with a clean install...saving me the headache and runaround of their customer service

Yeah I was having this problem as well and I was trying to determine the cause by eliminating softwares running along with the poker client. So far, after not running holdem indicator when I am playing, I haven't had my computer crash.

Me too. HI+ Windows 10 + Ignition client = computer crash. I have been doing fine since I stopped using HUD

I again uninstalled and re-installed and it finally worked this morning. I haven't been able to get on for 1 full week.

S/W still sux. I'd take my money off but I have less than the min on here.
You need at least $ 20. Ya, I know. Big gambler here. My mistrust is not mis-placed here.

Yeah I've also stopped using any software with it and have seen very few crashes since then. I sometimes have issues if I use Chrome while playing too.

Such a shame that the software issues plaguing Ignition plagues Bovada. I was getting super excited too.

I tried to deposit via bitcoin yesterday. My transaction got 6 confirmations and is showing as complete, yet Bovada is saying it is still showing as pending. Anyone had this issue? Hate having money in limbo.

We tried to tell them this would happen, but they wouldn't listen. Guess they lost enough money.

Strange now because they use their old platform and not the crap Ignition platform embed. I guess the old card catcher will work on there, but need to play w/ it some. I think this is good news though, at least Bovada seemed to respond better their updates and issues than Ignition has.

I have had the same blue screen crash as above. I don't run HI, but I do run Ignition Card Catcher in tandem with HEM2.

The software is still very dodgy for me. Wednesday it just closed out around 3-4 times and that is when I gave up for the day. Thursday, it had one close out but I was able to play 1k hands in my later session with no problems.

Does anyone have a solution on how to get the client running? It seems I just repeatedly open and close the client and 1 out of 10 times (guesstimate) the client will actually open properly.

Prior to the recent update, I could count on one hand how many times Ignition had crashed on my PC for the past year and a half.

Yeah they are creating 20+ streams of chrome data, so it would make sense it messes w/ Chrome while you're playing because any 3rd party apps are having to intercept and decrypt all of that data and feed it to your memory.

Bovada is not wrapping their software in java and chrome though from what I can tell so far.

I just figured they're the same; is there a benefit of switching my roll to bovada over ignition?

Furthermore, the software issues are super annoying to me as a seasoned Ign player to the point that I just don't even want to play. How do you think recs feel? It is a bad situation to be in to have an environment where recs are discouraged from playing.

Only if you like to bet sports at Bovada with the same bankroll you play poker with.

From my understanding there are no additional rewards benefits unless you never had an account at Bovada. If you never did, then you are eligible for the welcome bonus.

Point system?

Their software, assuming they don't move to the new Ignition update, should work better with 3rd party software.

Edit: And literally, minutes after I post this, they do another update and are at the same update as Ignition. They was a brief moment of hope. lol

I believe the poker points accumulate at an equal rate across all of their poker skins. The point system mentioned in their email is not for poker.

i doubt they are different companies, they just want you to think that. bovada has those sports table backgrounds. it also says the deck color are orange (ignition) when it's not. bovada probably forgot to fix that part when they made their "comeback" (never left)

Yeah for me, Bovada had been on the same software as Ignition since they came back a few days ago

I was having every issue you could imagine. Then I installed flash player (thought I had it but ignitions browser info tab said I didn't), and then played for 3 hours straight with no hiccup. Could be coincidental but hoping not. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose
