I think I may have screwed myself on a dumb bonus.

So I have money in my poker balance. I decide to degen and play some poker. End up winning $450 or so. Check my balance and it is the same as when I started. I do some digging and see all of the blackjack profits went into a bonus balance.

Seems I had $20 or so dollars as a bonus balance that carried over when I started playing blackjack. Really dumb as my entire balance was at stake in blackjack. It looks like they consider all of the winnings from the "bonus" balance that I need to clear. Should I even complain?

Any feedback on AcePokers card catcher for ignition? My year license is up for the standard hand converter and I was thinking of upgrading bc live time hand archiving seems like the nuts.

So far using the trial version the hands are not archiving. File path matches what is indicated in tutorial video.

I've been going back and forth with support so that Id ask you guys, any insight is appreciated. I'm using holdem manager FWIW.

I've been out of the loop as I took a pretty big hiatus after the switch to ignition.

The card catcher works really well. I really like it and I am picky with software.
Here is a link to the thread:

It takes a lot less effort to do it the logical way. Google > "card catcher ignition" > thread is the 5th link.

if you put twoplustwo alongside that phrase in google it's the first link..............

Card catcher is good but renewing the converter is easily worth it as well since you can see opponent cards in the actual hhs.

For someone who is pretty novice when it comes to tracking software in general, can you go into your process using both?

You make a very good point about seeing your opponents hole cards.

When you auto track with card catcher but then use the HH converter a few days later, do the hand histories overwright in holdem manager with the added data?

No. They are stored as a separate database alias (catcher uses ipoker, converter uses pokerstars). You download the hands from the poker client. Convert using the converter. Then import to pokertracker, etc.

This is completely false of course, so I'm wondering if you actually mean something else.

So, I took several months off from Bovada and now I'm trying to make my first deposit on Ignition and am having a pretty terrible all around user experience.

-My debit card got declined with the first attempt at depositing
-I called Ignition they said the decline is on the bank side
-I called my bank, got transferred around twice and then they said it is on Visa's side
-I called Visa and they said they cleared the alert and to try again in 5 min and if it still doesn't work after that to reload the page again and try again
-I waited 10 minutes then tried again and got a second decline
-I waited another 5 min, refreshed the page again and got a third decline and got an error message on the ignition poker software that said something to the effect of "you have had 3 failed attempts...you cannot try again for another 24 hours"
-I called Ignition and they say they cannot clear or override that (also there was no warning from the first Ignition rep I spoke with that if your deposit gets decline 3 times in a row that you will be blocked for an hour)

So now i have to wait 24 hours to essentially attempt to troubleshoot this further (and only get 3 attempts at it or I have to wait another 24 hours).

Definitely missing Bovada.

Anyone else run into this?

Google and learn about how to buy/sell and use Bitcoin. Its the easiest, cheapest, and fastest way to deposit/withdraw on poker sites esp Ignition. Very easy to load up to $5k per day with 0 fees. There is much written about it in this thread and the deposit/withdrawal thread. A simple google search about it will get you up to date. Good luck.

I am pretty clueless how they are distributing this poker bonus. I keep waking up to more and more bonus money, which is nice... but last night I went to sleep with 0 pending bonus dollars, woke up with an extra 50 in my account, and in cashier it says 100 of my account is bonus. I'll take it, I just have no clue how they are calculating these numbers.

Yea its pretty odd. I play 50nl reg tables, so I'm happy. Nevertheless 25nl and 5nl, which always run with 50+ players are empty. 10nl and 50nl Zone are both at 50+ tho, which is quite odd. 50nl zone has seemed on average pretty dead for the last year, up till the last 3-4 days.

Hmm, just got on for the first time in a couple weeks and yeah, that's odd.

And 25nl zone is running now with 40 players but it's 9max? Can't remember the last time I've seen that.

I had been having a lot of trouble depositing on the poker sit while on my mac. Same issues the same issues you seem to be having I tried from my phone and it went through easily I did it this way several times no issue but every time I tried on my mac it would not go through.I finally tried while on my mac logging into the main ignition site and depositing that way has worked every time http://ignitioncasino.eu

Seems like the natural transition after the rake hike. Kill off $100 and play $200. That just trickles down to $50 and $10 running instead of $25 and $5.

Works great for me... Just use both methods and keep 2 separate databases so you can see hole cards later if you want to still use the converter.

That's a good point. I have never seen the FR Zone tables running at any stake, though. If I understand the rake tables correctly, it makes sense at the regular cash games to play FR instead of 6M if your goal is to avoid the extra rake when/if the tables go short-handed. In Zone, though, you would always have 6 players, so the rake should always be the same between FR and 6M. Right?
