I'm not sure of the point of your posts over than some small possibility of being able to say "I told you so" regarding some indicator you think you've uncovered at a distant point in the future. You are making assumptions built on assumptions.

Just transfer to Ignition. It's easy and safe...and you get 10 bucks.

Conspiracy theorists would say that is exactly what they wanted.

I have read his post twice and still a little unclear. Only reason I keep reading it is that it is his second post in a decade.

I swear... it's the little things that annoy me the most with Bovada.

I put in a withdrawal request and they cancel it under the reason... "insufficient funds" ... while i'm playing video poker. Isn't it convenient that when you load up a casino game it uses your entire balance instead of an amount of your choosing. And then at that specific 1 hour window ... they attempt to process your withdrawal and claim they can't.

Is it so hard for them to segregate your withdrawal money and lock it down unless you specifically go in and request the withdrawal to be cancelled (like the forfeit bonus option). Nope... every shady tactic to screw you or to screw yourself is implemented.

Lets not forget the fact that they can automate a bitcoin deposit but somehow a bitcoin withdrawal takes 48 hours...

Transfer a small amount via Bovada client. Cash out the rest using bitcoin. Then deposit from your bitcoin wallet to ignition and claim a bitcoin matching bonus.

What is a bitcoin matching bonus? Support told me to not pick anything if you want the poker drip bonus. I was told the bitcoin matching bonus was casino only.

Both Bovada and Ignition updated to version 4.28.00. So far have not seen any differences.

You're right. I just read the small print and the 1000 dollar bc bonus doesn't apply to poker.

I'm rather curious what was in these updates. Hopefully something good.

Less traffic in the summer, fish go broke find other interest like DFS (Which has stolen a ton of players I'm guessing). Then add in all of the software issues which make it a huge pain for anybody to play.

So I just made my Ignition account and transferred some money over. Do I automatically get the turny freeroll ticket? It has not shown up yet.

I have noticed differences. Now when I open tables, I get some weird beeping/goofy sounds, that sounds something like cards or chips moving(like even if I open a table to observe it), but it only lasts for a second. And it seems like the normal sounds might be screwed up b/c sometimes it doesn't beep for my turn anymore, but other times it does. And I don't see any differences in the sound settings menu either (for any option to turn something on or off that wasn't there before).
So, glad to know they have their priorities right - hopefully these new changes to the sound settings will help with the disconnects!

I just transferred my account over and here's what I learned:

1) Seamless transfer via the link in the email
2) All your account info transfer but you don't keep your Bovada Acct Number
3) Your 2 bonus's are issued within 24 hours ($10 and a tourney ticket)
4) You are eligible for a 100% matching bonus on poker deposits up to $100 max. But you have to deposit in addition to your transferred amount.
5) Client is identical. This is not a different company but another name for whatever Bovada is doing with poker...which I don't understand. I think customer support are the same people, but I could be wrong.

As far as #4 above, if I knew that, I would have not transferred my full wad, and pulled $100 out of Bovada, Transfer the rest of my wad, and then Deposited the $100 on Ignition after a few days for the Drip Bonus.

Hope that helps.

Can't log into Ignition. "We're unable to establish a connection"

Edit: Got in on 3rd login try. Cautious to play tourney/SnG for fear of inevitably being locked out but here we go...

Started playing an hour ago, had a good 45 minutes before the disconnects started.

And it was a disconnect that I have never seen before- maybe a new feature of the new software upgrade- I decided to play S&G today, and then I was just hitting the 'yes' button to play another one after they ended, and then on one of them the lobby that pops up when you register a new S&G popped up but was totally blank, and then each of my tables started to disconnect shortly after, but it would only be one table at a time and the others would keep going. So for about 15 mins straight I would have to find each of my S&G's in the lobby to re-open them, then i would get back on the table and get to play 2-3 hands, and I would time out, and every time I got another one of my games back open, it would time out another one. Complete suckage. It's like they must have some algorithm that just disconnects you now when they see you are a reg winning player doing well. I was chip leader in 3/4 of my games and ended up only cashing in one of them after I got blinded out of most of them.
