Someone mentioned the liveupdate screen problem, which is where that shows up and then it reopens and closes itself. That's happened to me a few times before but reinstalling the software did help.

This time it's been connecting to the server in the first place and when it does, nearly every room is empty and it's a bloody mess. When I was playing earlier, everyone was disconnecting (including me). I think these are the types of issues a lot of people are having right now.

Down for me. Has no problem getting to the client, but then I try to sign in and it just says "Bovada is unable to process your request at this time. Please try again." But I do see the proper filters and preferences associated to my account, which is odd.

This is not a regular occurence. Software has vastly improved from the initial rush to push anonymity, and payouts are lightning speed. Not to mention: spot donk -> felt donk -> cash.

Does the rep have any info on this weeks outages?

btw, came up, went back down, now back up again... [fingers and toes crossed]
Question is semi-serious. Bovada's poker software is total garbage (saying it is vastly improved doesn't do much for me if it still sucks). I haven't played online in years and only migrated over to the poker room after football season ended and I still had money on the sports book side. It is so buggy and unreliable, I wouldn't ever feel comfortable relying on it for my income.

The presence of sports betting donks (not unlike myself) obviously makes it good for solid poker players, but there's so much extra crap to deal with.

this is the first time I've ever had an issue

We all need to readjust our standards, but I do wish Bovada had a real rep here, not some outsourced affiliate or w/e shill posts from time to time.

I will say anyone playing for a living on Bovada needs to take an honest look at themselves, but I think most that are playing for income there have a pretty good attitude about it. I do worry about the people who randomly show up here complaining about needing a $500 check that bounced, that scares me. But I imagine most of those grinding out money on Bovada understand their rolls could disappear and/or they could have issues getting their money in a timely manner. Now that hasn't really been the case as of late, but it has to constantly remain in the back of your mind.

I play on Bovada for fun, because I enjoy playing poker and it's a good way to kill some time. It's a more lucrative hobby than pretty much anything else I could think of doing.

The reason people put up with it is because the site is so soft it's absolutely unreal. I went from Lock to Bovada and it's like playing 5-6 regs in a game to like 1 other competent player. That's what I've seen at least at 100nl/200nl. The cashout times are really good too. Lock is like a 6 week wait where Bovada is <1 week.

This isn't a frequent occurrence either. Just hoping it'll come back up soon. =\

I agree. Soft games fast cashouts. I feel alot safer with my money on Bovada than Lock. I called customer service and they said theyre working on it but have no timeframe.

It seems the lag is gone. Anyone else notice the improvement from when it was laggy?

The O8 games are also creamy soft -- both limit and pot limit.

It won't affect your computer. Just a server problem on their end. I wouldn't save credit card info on there or anything though.
