It's currently shared now, as it was before, up until Sept 30th. No idea what's going to happen to Bodog after that. You would assume the Bodog players will receive a similar email in the next few weeks telling them to move over to ignition as well. Either that or leaving Bodog as it is, just playing vs other Canadians and Bodog.88 players which will kill the site due to lack of liquidity.

Actually on second thought this is going to kill a lot of action. How much we will see after September 30th

More or less if you want to play poker you need a poker account. So those guys calling with K high will need to deposit now to play poker instead of just using their sports roll to play some poker fun

This sucks.
ACR is a nit-fest.
Any suggestions??

I just don't see why any Recs who primarily wager sports and casino will transfer their balance off Bovada to a casino site they've never heard of. Some may transfer their action to ACR, but most will probably stay on Bovada and bet their "poker money" on sports and casino.

Yeah, segregated wallets will kill the poker action. Why would fish who want to play poker chose to deposit on Ignition of all sites.

For those of you thinking the loss of sportsbook players is some major detriment you should at least know that Bovada is hardly a great sportsbook. Go look at 5Dimes which is WAY bigger than Bovada for sportsbook action and take a look at their poker room, its a ghost town. I don't think a significant amount of players on the poker client are sports bettors.

I remember reading awhile back that bovada had plan that was gonna make the site even more friendly to rec players. I guess the plan was make a new site for the poker players and leave all the sports betting/casino whales cash to be raked by bovada.

Like someone else had stated, this is happening now because of the NFL season rolling around, which is the most profitable for the Sport's Betting websites. They are concerned that the poker players are stripping away action from their site. What does this mean? It certainly won't make the games any better. Bovada probably understands their business better than any of us do, so if they believe they are losing money from the poker regs...they probably are.

Betonline I believe is the next best option. Those games are pretty fishy and they have sport's betting connected to poker. They recently started offering BTC deposits/payouts (with slightly higher than average fees though).

But for me, my poker fix is still the 24/7 live $1/$2 game 15 minutes from my house.

Wow, at first when I saw the email I was hoping Ignition would have a much improved software. Disappointed to see that it's just another bovada skin.

What do you guys think, should I transfer to Ignition now, or wait?

I was actually just considering moving my funds to 5dimes. Way better lines for wagering.

Also, 5dimes still has 2 clients right? Last I checked one client was Grand Poker and the other client was connected to WPN (same network as ACR). Is this still the case? If so will likely move my funds to 5dimes in the next couple months.

You might wanna wait if you plan on winning any decent money since you'll only be able to cash out 3k at a time on ignition.

BetOnline charge 7%* percentage for BitCoin deposits!

(*They incorrectly call it a 6.5% processing fee, but they deduct the 6.5% from the deposited amount which actually amounts to a 6.951% processing fee.)

I'm surprised there aren't more doomsday posts. Usually /endofpoker has a lot more posts by this point.

It's not awesome, but it's still all doable. 1 free cashout per 4 months via check - free via bitcoin. I suggest you guys get bitcoin if you don't already:

from Ignition site:
You are entitled to one free withdrawal per month, starting on June 1 and ending on September 30 (a total of 4 free payouts). As of October 1, 2016, you will be eligible for one free withdrawal every four months.

The following fees will apply after the free payouts have been used:

Bitcoin: 100% free deposits and withdrawals
Check by Courier: $75 per withdrawal
Rapid Transfer: $50 per withdrawal

Also, a decent amount of the fishiness from the site is the limited number of tables you can play. It will be a blow to the action to not have the sportbook there, but it's not the end of the world. The big mystery is how bodog fits into this, because they also feed into the fish pool.

NJ/NV players no longer allowed to play even if you had accounts prior to regulated poker.

Unsure if they will let you cash out or not either.

I have bonus money that still has to be cleared and some of my money is locked. Am I right to assume only the unlocked money will transfer?

5Dimes has it's own network attached to its sportsbook and sister sportsbooks. Grand Poker network. The games are very good but there are usually 2-3 tables at best.
