Has anyone heard anything about synchronized breaks for tournaments?

Just tried to log in and saw this:

"Your account has been temporarily disabled after we found some suspicious activity in your account. Your account is currently under investigation. In order for us to continue with our investigation... "

WTF?

Just had a withdrawal approved, so this seems to have triggered something.

It's not going to happen. It's not because they can't do it, it's because they don't want to do it.

Some guy right now in 25nl zone has a 350 dollar stack. Biggest stack I've seen relative to the stake. What's that, 1400 bbs? Lol absurd

Hopefully, they fix this promptly. If not, I guess I can report Bovada to SBR and try to get them downgraded as a sportsbook?

Im beginning to wonder if the $100+9 10k gtd is even worth playing. Only give you a 3k stack and 1st is only 20 buyins.

Nothing against their TOS. I'll send them the verification stuff and post an update... I'll probably have to hold Bovada's hand and stick my thumb up her %#$ until she admits she screwed up and apologizes... who knows?

Slower payouts are just part of their player model. If they slow payouts, it will piss off 100% of the winning regs and make some leave, but will only annoy the small fraction of recs that even know about withdraw speeds. Sick tactic.

You assume that just because someones a rec, they won't know or care about how long payouts take? Rec =/= stupid. Everyone cares about their money.

Payout speed and reliability are a top concern for basically every player when choosing a site.

And Bovada's payouts aren't even that slow and don't piss me off. I always have gotten cash in hand within 12 days of requesting a payout.

The intentions of my statement was that if one doesn't read 2p2 payout thread or actually initiate a withdraw, then they won't know that a payout is taking longer. I agree if 3rd party websites start posting that bovada payouts are taking forever, sure that would make an impact. But if you google search bovada withdraws, this thread isn't at the top. The sites that the occationally player will read will say bovada still has "lightning fast" cash outs.
Not saying rec=stupid, but I could see how it could be interpreted that way. I am saying a rec that doesn't withdraw, won't know that for the past 2 months withdraws have slowed.

With that being said, there was 0 sincerity or actual expectation that Bovada would use this strategy (even if) it were true.

Ok, fair enough.

I disagree though that Bovada is processing payouts slowly to piss off regs. I actually think the regs would be the ones more willing to put up with slow payouts.

this for sure. never been upset with bovada for delays because ive waited 111 days for merge checks and waited 3 months for full tilt checks that came and bounced.

i will say when bovada offers a very specific window for withdrawals and they exceed that by 3 or 4x it can be frustrating because the standard they set for themselves is high. but they're always accommodating. i've asked for, and been given, $50 bonuses for delays. i just call and raise hell politely.

Wouldn't the fact they that have been consistently one of the best and fastest sites, if not the best and fastest site, for US payouts since UIGEA and since they introduced their recreational player model contradict your theory?

I think we agree :-)

Was just trying to have fun hopping on the sky is falling bandwagon. I would be very surprised if it was anything more than previous times there was a hiccup in payments and just a processor issue and they jump to a new one.

Same here, I have no Idea why. I had a withdraw about 4 weeks ago so I have no idea why they would just lock my account now... Did you get it unlocked?
