When I logged in today, I registered for 3 heads up SNG tournaments. It was taking a while for the games to start, so I decided to load up a zone table while I wait. After about 10 minutes, none of my HUSNGs had popped up on my screen. I checked the lobby only to find that the games were already running, and my opponents had blinded off a significant portion of my stacks. Of the 1500 starting chips, I had 85 chips left in a $21 sng, around 600 or 700 chips left in another $21 and 1050 chips left in a $31.50. Of course, my first instinct was to load the games as quickly as possible by opening the tournament lobby and clicking 'Take my Seat'. After I loaded the games, I was pretty confident support would credit the buyins back to my account as this was clearly an issue on their end. It couldn't have been a connection issue on my end because I was playing Zone when this happened and didn't experience any connection issues with the zone session. I received refunds for the $21 tournaments, but not the $31.50 tournament.

Apparently, it is up to bovada's support to decide how many chips is enough to warrant a refund. I am posting this so others know - if this happens to you, don't manually load the game. Let your stack be blinded off and then ask for a refund. This seems like the only way to guarantee a refund for an issue that is their fault. I debated back and forth with support, expressing that the refund is not my concern and that I am seeking consistency with their decisions.

Can't log in at all. Uninstalled the software, reinstalled it. Just hangs on the live update with no progress.

Anyone else having trouble signing in?

tournament lobby not refreshing the entrants for anyone else? Only showing me the real entrants if I double click on the tourney itself.

lol everyone in this bdpo event is sitting out. I had to manually find my seat. The frequency that this software crashes is astounding.

They ended up canceling the BDPO $82 PLO Shootout 5k, before it started. (56 players were registered at the time.) Probably the correct decision considering so many software issues this evening, still a shame tho, looked like it'd be a fun event.

indeed. I put off a tinder date to play in this event, I was waiting for it all week! I don't think anybody gets more excited for Omaha shootouts than me. lol

But we were 3 handed to start the contender and the other 2 were sitting out the whole time. idk

Got off the phone with customer service. BDPO5 #58 was required because it only had 56 players registered and it required 72 players to start.

The customer service lady was an idiot, claiming "this event is already over" multiple times.

Never thought I'd say this but highly considering going back to WPN until Bovada can either, or more options come available in my area.

Ah, didn't know about the 72 player minimum, makes sense. Forgot shootouts have some different standards. Regardless, still a shame lol.

So I've been playing on bovada again and when I play on it my internet will go down sometimes (chrome Skype and everything too) but it seems to be triggered by actually playing on the site. Kinda strange, not sure what's going on

The next time I encounter one, I will make a note and post. It was unusual enough that I had a "WTF" moment when we stayed hand-for-hand for the ticket bubble in addition to the money bubble. I even discussed it in chat with some of the other players. As I recall, it was a low buy-in satellite I was using to fill time.

It might just be a one-off like the external-to-tables window popping up announcing the "$500 Guaranteed (Turbo DS) - $5 + $0.50" tournament at 0230ET. As with things like Tournament Start notifications, it blocks input until dismissed. But, at least, that notification pop-up has a short auto-dismiss timeout.

Thanks a bunch, Recuva is a great program and was able to find all the files. Too bad 95% had already been corrupted or overwritten. Oh well, time to start over. Lesson learned.

anyone else having really bad lag again? sng lobbies take about 15-20 seconds after double clicking to fully open and bring up the register button. not sure if its worth firing a game to see if its ok once the table starts.

bovadas software management team needs to be fired. its amazing they keep collecting a paycheck when the client is constantly in the gutter. either upper management doesnt know or doesnt care

Have they done anything to fix the sound issue yet? I have no sound on either my desktop or laptop on bovada. Every other site is fine... Been this way for like a month now. Blows ace.

Do any of you that make regular withdraws with visa fast ever have issues as in being questioned about the withdraw or anything else for that matter. I have only used it twice for small amount and it seems fine just wondering if it does so for more frequent use.

Bovada has been crashing for me every other day or so. I will be playing and then all of a sudden it just freezes and I just get the little spinning circle thing if I hover over the lobby. I cannot close any tables or the lobby for some reason. The only way to get going again is to reboot. It only seems to crash when I am playing and seems more likely to happen if I am playing 4 tables. I have never seen it crash when I just leave the lobby open during the day.

I also get the weird "disconnects" where I can keep playing at my tables, but it says I am disconnected in the lobby. It "reconnects" after a minute or so.

Phone support basically tells me I am out of luck until they fix these problems. No timeline of course.

I am using Windows 7, the 64 bit version with Google Fiber internet. I reboot before I play and make sure I have nothing but Bovada and Holdem Indicator open. Thanks for any help!

u prolly wont get any ?s til u go over 1k or so...if u can withdraw a certain amount around the same time i imagine it would be less suspicious? GL

My bank has never question the VFF's. They are usually cleverly coded to look like affiliate payments or chargebacks for returned items. One time I returned $2800 worth of candles to 4candles4u

My bank always sends paper checks to collections so that usually delays the funds an additional month.

VFF is better for my situation.

It's annoying that in 2016 the only reason I'm not playing a TON of mtts this weekend is because the software is so horrible.

Back in 2003 when I started online poker I never "avoided" mtts like I do now, even though I was on dial up.

Sucks because it's my birthday weekend and I wanted to grind mad tournaments this weekend, but I don't trust Bovada's software.

I just finished about six and a half hours of play during which I was disconnected many times and issued the warning that I was not logged in, even when some of my games were running. At nearly all my sng's today, at least one person was disconnected for the majority of the play. The lobby was lagging and I couldn't download my games from yesterday because that portion of the client was down.

According to their site, yes. On the actual client I don't see the 150k though. So who knows?
