You already received your answer. Read the site rules. Using a HUD to track your own sessions is fine.

The CS rep you talked to was just confused by your question and most likely not all the well educated in this subject.

If it makes you feel better, this was discussed before in this thread with a Bovada rep chiming in to again reiterate exactly what the rules state.

It kind of bothers me though that your angle seems to be that you dont even care if its against the rules, but rather if you will get caught when you cheat. Why dont you just play by the rules and not be a cheating scumbag?

You do realize that if HUDS were illegal, we are the people youd be cheating and stealing from if you decided to use one as your posts imply you would if you believed you could get away with it?

I think you will be fine. Good luck in the nosebleeds with or without the use of your hud, which is essentially useless on Bovada.

HUD's are imo best for cash-game grinders. If I were one, I could hear the argument of playing on sites that allow them. Even so, the anonymity feature can be beneficial for cash grinders in that you don't have to worry about people making plays on you based on your own HUD profile. Then again, the highest I've played is 400NL. From my experience, the serious cash grinders do prefer having the HUD as it gives them an "edge". Yet, the serious cash grinders on a site that allows HUD's are all going to have it. Not having it, in my opinion, makes the game more legitimate. I like the anonymity feature.

It's good for VPIP and PFR which converge rather quickly. It's def better to have one than not have one. But it looks like at the moment, I need a spell checker more than I need a HUD!

I've helped run large scale bot farms in the past. As long as I help program them, I don't have any issues with outsourcing my time to code. It's like netdecking in Magic the Gathering.

But, I'm assuming you probably play $3/$6 NL and up as you seem pretty smart and articulate (which means you're probably a good disciplined +EV poker player as well)

Nothing for tracking sng or mtts unless you want to input payouts for every game (Pokeit). You can do that with excel just as easy, not saying it's easy though.

Edit : I see qdmcg asked the same question above me. I just called support. they have had an error in their system (surprise surprise) and had credited EVERYONES account with 50 dollars this morning. They have since pulled it back out of everyone accounts and shall have the 50 dollar bonus credited to the proper qualifying players accounts by the end of the day. Or so support says.

Yeah I saw the $50 earlier and it's gone now. I did get the email Thursday stating I had met all the requirements, so if they don't get it right at least I have that to go on.

Did the same with a nut flush after already making 3 flushes but never got to showdown. It's real hard to fight the urge to extract some value.
