I think it already took place. I believe it took place at the turning of the new year. Mainly cause they were giving 53 tickets away for the whole year of 2012. Well the 1st was the 1st one of the 53 so they would have had to have gave it away already.

I just got some weird virus during a 1 table SNG that hid all of my program files and desktop icons. I was able to rkill/malwarebyte it and get rid of it but now Bovada is gone from my puter. My gf also had Bodog and when she upgraded to Bovada tonight her virus scanning program (Kaspersky, which I do not use) went crazy. Anyone else experiencing this?

That's ridiculous. This is a Bodogavada thread. Bodogavada put out this update so that HUDs no longer work, yet there's still a HUD that works. But if you mention what HUD this is that gives players an unfair advantage (which is the specific reason why Bodogavada wants to eliminated HUDs), the posts get deleted.

Wonder how much extra Bodogavada pays 2+2 for this.

On that same subject, have you seen the poker room review, I think it was poker news (it was definitely one of the big ones). They have Bovada a 8.0 out of 10 or something, including an 8.0 of 10.0 for security.

Can someone please explain to me how a website like poker news can determine what rating to give security? They even rated ethics. How can you rate someones ethics if you don't even live in the same country, you have no idea what type of "ethics" these people have good or bad.

I would love to see how they came up with those numbers, like what specifically makes bodog 8 out of 10 on security, I honestly want to know this. Did they tour the place? Even if they did (reference joe sebok) I don't see how that even matters.

Does anyone know how to get the hand histories in text format? All i can see is the image based HH's where you have to click back/forward for each hand. You would have to look at each one and type it to get in text format. Anyone know of a solution to this problem? I dont use a HUD and even if I did, I am not sure if it would work with the new anonymous tables there. So plz dont recommend a HUD. i have already played the hands that I want to analyze. I am not looking to play there any more!

Bovada has never requested that any posts be deleted. I assume RW thought Gemaco was spamming for the HUD.

It seems you got your answers already, but I wanted to reply to this part - sure it is. Posts aren't generally deleted without reason, and this doesn't change the fact that this is a forum - freedom of speech doesn't apply, although posters do pretty much have it here if they follow the rules.

Most, if not all, poker room rankings that you'll find on different sites have very clear biases. The sites providing rankings are usually affiliates for a number of the poker rooms.

So based on that, you shouldn't have any problems with the following warning message, correct?

Warning to Bovada users. Despite the fact that Bodog/Bovada says that HUDs will no longer work, and despite the fact that they've stated the reasons behind their anonymous software changes were to make the game more fair, specifically not giving players advantages such as HUDs, there still is one HUD that does work. This HUD is called Holdem Indicator. HEM (Holdem Manager) and PT (PokerTracker) no longer work, so most users would assume that all HUDs do not work, but this is not the case. In addition, Bodog/Bovada is being purposely vague about this.

So as a warning, players you are playing against may have a HUD, and it might be working even though you may think the software is designed not to allow it.

Personally , I feel the software, customer service, and policies are excellent. Only thing I had a problem with was losing consistently.
