Yep. Although even more regularly the table will pop up, with the grey screen over it saying something about (not able to connect), then I have to wait a few seconds, go back to the lobby, find the game and manually open it. I miss the first hand about half the time, or more if I have 8 other games going.

Anyway, the point is that all the people I've ever encountered who complain about rigging are uniformly awful at poker and make basic --ev plays highly regularly. What do we think is the higher end of attainable winrates in the 500z game? I laugh when I see people in NVG, talking about how it would be sick if X crusher could actually beat 500z on Stars for 5bb. Luckily, we live in Dipshit America, the land of a million fish, and Ignition is 1000 times softer than PokerStars. I've been playing 500 and 200z a good amount and man, I've been watching many people making some remarkably terrible plays.

The more I play around with solvers in postflop spots, I'm constantly seeing these scenarios where like 95% of our continuing range is a mixed strategy (i.e., the ev for any reasonable button click is equal), and so I'm not sure where edges are coming from if people are playing normal preflop ranges. So, like, whatever small ev we can churn out vs. regs is going to come from playing large samples with them, and having more accurate frequencies, and also by levelling/re-levelling your reg opponents based largely on what we suspect about their frequencies ... but this can't matter much, or at all, in an anonymous zone game.

On a related note, I would die of happiness if sites instituted antes for nl cash games.

I’m only paying 50nl and have been running good, but I’m up nearly 900bb in under 2k hands. And I’m buying in short (which I think is actually advantage for my exploitive style).

The games are very soft, borderline silly. Very rarely I’ll see 4 other players with even a modicum of a preflop strategy. I think 25bb/100 must be doable at 50nl.

I think you need a new affiliate...

My tournament lobby (for both browser and client) is not showing any Mad Monday games, despite showing various sats for them for today. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but in December my tournament lobby didn’t show any 12 Days of Turbos games either. I don’t have any funky filters on or anything. Are these things actually running? Is there any reason why I would be missing festival tourneys despite all the regular ones (and Monthly Milly) still showing up?

Wow, 25bb. A couple years ago I played a good amount of 50nl blitz on ACR, and I felt that it was pretty tough. Probably less soft than 500z on Ignition today, if you can believe that. You get actual rakeback on ACR, but still. No European regs makes for one hell of a difference.

Yeah, I see them. 150k GTD 270 at 6:40 EST. The filters have never really worked for me. If I unclick "Mad Monday", the Mad Monday tournaments go nowhere.

For whatever reason I don’t even have a Mad Monday filter. So weird, and frustrating.

I just looked at how much I'm paying in rake and I'm kind of disgusted. I've had people claim I can get RB but only through a new account, which is kind of bullshit isn't it?

btw I also get the 99% issue - it seems to let me in when a spot is open at a full table. which could take a long time.

One account per skin. Affiliates get paid by getting a large number of new accounts to sign up through them. Unless you’ve initially signed up through and affiliate you basically have zero chance of getting rakeback. This isn’t a new thing. Affiliates have been around for as long as I can remember
