Yes, and a HUD is more useful there than anywhere else imo. You still typically don't get a good read from the stats the majority of the time because there is so many 100 hand session fish. The occasional HU battle you get in with a reg it's nice to have though.

Personally, I need way way way less than 200 to make it worthwhile HU. Perhaps you are doing it wrong?

Depends how good/bad the person you're playing is.

Ive found holdem indicator to be very useful at 6 max. You seldom get enough hands to give you an accurate 3bet range but if someone is playing 40/5 after 40 hands that certainly tella you something. Paying attention to showdowns is more important though.

not gonna make this an MTT strategy thread....open jamming the SB in this spot makes his range super-capped and face up....i didnt mention the dynamics/reads but fwiw, he never open shoved the top of his range.

so that means at best he has a single over-card...we are never, ever, flipping. the ICM doesnt properly consider just how often I would go on to win the tournament if i held up...the 3rd place player was sitting on 9 or 10bb and very nitty.

but yeah, its good to know there are regs folding JJ 3 handed, to an open shove BvB because of ICM. lolz

Regulation also hasn't had much of an effect because it's in 3 fairly small states. Once a state like CA goes live it will certainly be a big hit.

But like Madcats said, the Bovada traffic numbers could be way off in either direction. From playing on the other sites with comparable traffic that is more likely to be accurate I wouldn't really be surprised if Bovada had more traffic than Poker Scout estimates.
I respectfully strongly disagree, but I won't junk up the thread with us going back and forth on something that doesn't really matter.

Regarding anonymous tables:

I think it was the best move Bodog has ever made. Jonas and his rec poker model was smashing success and they deserve much credit.

And anyone who has been in this thread for many years understands that is significant because I was an extremely vocal critic. In fact, at the end of November 2011 (about 30 days after they went anon) I initiated a full payout and stopped playing out of protest. I was convinced by a friend to try it again in 2013 and I realized it was in fact way more beneficial to me then I original thought.

I am now a strong supporter of anonymous tables and I hope some sites consider this in the US when its fully regulated.

Party Poker has a decent alternative to anonymous tables on their NJ site. You can't see full tables or get on wait lists for individual tables. If you want to play 200NL you're randomly sat at 200NL, at least when I played there in January it was that way.

Chances Bovada/Bodog would ever spread other games?

My suspicion is even if it was proven that spreading other games was profitable for them, they would decline. They haven't taken players' suggestions very often afaik and it hasn't hurt them one bit, so cant really blame them for that.

Still would be nice to see some other games, as they have a large player pool that doesn't seem like it would be too negatively effected by any dilution that would come with it.

They've actually taken quite a few player suggestions and implemented them. Post this over in the official Bodog thread and Bodog_Ice will pass it along to management. It might not do anything at all but at least someone will get the suggestion.
