Since I don't play there, my only beef is the name - don't think I've ever seen a site name spelt wrong on these forums as frequently as this one, so it apparently doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Bodova, Bovoda, Bovado, Bovodo...I've seen almost everything that starts with Bo.

- high "lag" time

- tournament lobbies don't say how many players remaining
- selecting "fold" or "check/fold" option is hardly functional
Tournament lobby works, leave it open for a minute and the info will load. Annoying but it works.

I will skip the RNG thing, as you can post that in the rigged thread. For reference: Before the switch I had over 700K hands on Bodog, nothing indicating anything out of the ordinary when compared with my FT and stars hands.

Regarding your rabbit cam thing - I am confused. I was under the impression the rabbit cam shows what card WOULD have been dealt AFTER the hand is over. I have never seen it show the card before the hand is over, so I don't get the connection your trying to make.

And if your point is that a programmer and/or poker site has the means to cheat its players - then duh. Obviously this is always possible on any site - especially non publicly traded companies.

You did bring up a great point, and that is w/o hand histories you can't prove or disprove cheating. Solution: STOP PLAYING ON BODOG / BOVADA THEN. That is what I did. To play on a site anonymously w/o hand histories you need to have some faith in the site. Which clearly you don't. My suggestion is to just withdraw every penny you have as even if your not being cheated as it is obviously bothering you enough to write this post, so safe yourself the mental anguish and only play on sites with HH.

I agree with this completely.

Great post man!

Thought I'd pop in as I want to thank Bodog and/or Bovada for going down the anonymous table route. It took away most of what I like about Poker and was the last straw. It sent me to live games. omg. I went from being a slight winning player fighting for scraps with you sharks to shooting through 1/2 then 2/5 and now 5/10. Bankroll through the roof AND a ton more fun over a fraction of the time. Been to Vegas and Miami.......Online never again if live is like this.........not for everyone and I don't regret the grounding but if anyone is swaying and is prepared to adjust to the slower pace.............

I agree with all of this. The biggest problem being the check/fold button IMO.

Maybe you just got better? Or maybe your tendencies at the poker table were very noticeable and exploitable through HUDs?

Due to her representation of only certain elements of the "brand" I prefer Beckinada...

Live is full of droolers and Sample size can skew your judgment since you're playing WAY WAY WAY WAY less hands live than you are online.

Actually, I'm doing it to make fun of him.

I'm about as far from a fan of this buffoon as you will find anywhere.

Although I'd agree that signing off posts when your name is already attached to them is rather silly, equally silly is getting bent out of shape by it.

finally im not alone.....

as jefflyne guy... i too am a winning bovada sng player..
so i cant really complain just want to expose...

grinding $3-$20 9mans there has been very profitable for me BUT

playing side by side w merge.. there is an incredible amount of flushed/straight boards.. way out of control!!!

play in a few sngs threre then go back and review(only using theyre site) you will see flush/str8s make up way too many hands

there are alot of bad players there....

underdog wins so much more compared to merge.. its amazing... he is not crazy.. i am not crazy.. nor bitching about bad beats

so if u want to play there u need to modify ur style....

fast play every set... DO NOT TRY TO GET MAX VALUE

if there are 2 suits on flop...THERE WILL BE A FLUSH

if a limped pot.... RAISE HUGE(8X?) U WILL STILL GET SEVERAL CALLERS
2 of those callers will be playing any 2 suited or connecters

most of all
BE PREPARED TO SEE MORE SUKOUTS THAN MATHEMATICALLY POSSIBLE!!

im not saying they are blatantly cheating... i understand low traffic and they need to keep the fish... but please, bovada reps...
TONE IT DOWN A BIT... u will loose your players

ok... thats all... im logging in to bovada and crushing sngs... just poured a drink to help me when 22 beats my aa... 94% of the time! hahah

BOVADA only donks play aces

kingjay
fighting the suckoutsquad.. on annonomys player flushout at a time

If you are being genuine with this statement then I would suggest you give up aspirations of becoming a winning player OR learn to think differently about the game.

Luck does not exist, it is a figment of your imagination that is created by your brain to try and make sense out of patterns it notices. If you seriously believe someone won a lottery because they were more deserving, 'blessed', or simply more lucky then big lotto's psychology tactics worked.

+1

I play exclusively live now and I forgot how much fun it is. I have been playing live cash, live tournies, and live sngs. These people in the casino are just terrible. I mean its like going back to Bodog 5 years ago. Its freaking amazing. Although I'm sure it helped my mental state when I chopped for first the first $120 tourney I played and got 9th in the $200 a few days later, and won the morning $60 a few days after that. But I repeat, these people are terrible. You can flop top pair and have like 10x the size of the pot and just shove, and if anyone has any type of pair they will just auto call w/o even noticing that it was a massive massive overbet.

(1) Can U.S. players still play on Bodog?

(2) Can I get rakeback on Bodog?

(3) Do H.U.D.S. work on Bodog?

(4) What happened to Bodog? I tried to log-in, and the name has changed.

Sick brag post. Talk to us when the live game true variance begins. When you don't final table for months. Doesn't matter how bad they are you can only play one table and when you stop running good your just wasting valuable time.

He's just trolling. His only posts in this thread are asking stupid questions or stating stupid things and signing my name. He's easy enough to ignore, but if only there were someone with the power to ban him...

I knew about the name signing thing, but I hadn't put that together with the questions as I foolishly assumed everyone here was over the age of 12.
