all I see is people talking about Circle......I only have Coinbase....can I still use them for poker related cashouts(with blockchain as the inbetween step of course)???

Thanks
I use Coinbase and can confirm the service accepts the cashout from blockchain. Yea, sorry about the flooding of BTCs posts, but clearly this is the best option for deposit/withdrawal method at Bovada in this moment. Last i check, VFF isn't an option for most of us. I know its not for me. I agree with creating a seperate thread.

Why would anyone cashout using VFF or check at this point?

Checks are still coming in pretty quickly, with the last one I received taking only 6 business days. They're not as quick as BTC, but still a reliable option for people who don't want to open up BTC accounts right now.

I do agree though, that the VFF option makes zero sense to use at this point.

Do you have to deposit with bitcoin first to unlock the withdrawl option in the menu?

I got bitcoin added to my account without a deposit. I am a NJ player with an old account. This account is withdraw only.

I simply emailed customer support and asked "Can I get bitcoin added as a withdraw method to my account? I have an old NJ account and can not make any deposits."

To which they replied," Certainly, we have added that option for you"

Sweet.

My 5/26 withdrawal was finally canceled due to "technical error" and the funds were returned to my Bovada account today.

BTC
Req 5/26
Approved 5/30
Canceled and returned to account 6/9
Requested 5/25
Approved & Received 6/9

Hopefully all the delayed requests are being completed now.

I wonder if Bovada will eventually phase out checks.

So im running into the issue that the bitcoin wallets/bitcoin exchanges want a $50 fee or $15 + 3% in order to transfer into your bank account... this is really annoying when compared to a free check, is there any way around this? i tried cex.io and kraken both were gonna end up over $50 to move $1500 to my bank

Quick question from a new bitcoin user:

I have made my first deposit into circle. Now before I send to blockchain, is it necessary to go into my settings to change my currency from USD to bitcoin?

Thanks

i questioned this as well as how tiny changes in bitcoin value during the transaction would matter. i changed my settings from USD to bitcoin and had no problems just typing out the exact bitcoin amount bovada was asking for

FlopFlop:

Thanks for the response, yes that something I was wondering as well. I guess I thought that as soon as I deposited into circle I would have bitcoins. But they are still USD until you yourself convert that into bitcoin.

Ran into my first issue. Have done multiple Bitcoin withdrawals and every time I copy my wallet address from blockchain it seems to be new and bovada always accepts it. Just tried it and bovada is saying its previously been used. Any way I can manually get a new address? Any help would be nice. Thank you

Hmm, have you checked the address yourself to see if it's been used?

Either paste the address in to the search box on the front page of Blockchain.info, or add it to the end of this link:

Code:
https://blockchain.info/address/PASTE ADDRESS HERE
I'm curious whether it really is giving you an old address, and if so why, because it shouldn't.

Either way, what you can do is create a new section to use for this withdrawal. On the left side of the page there's a box that says "My Bitcoin Wallet". There's a screenshot on the previous page.

Underneath that is a link "Add+". Click that to create a new section and label it something like "Withdrawal 6-11". When you select that section and then click "Receive" you will definitely get a new address.

Yup I just had to make a new one and make it the default. Didn't have to do that before but now I know !

I would if Bovada would just process my withdrawal which been waiting 4 days now. It seems they are holding back on big withdrawals. Gonna prob cancel again and do smaller amounts and do it over the stretch.
