I went from Bovada to block chain to Coinbase. Can anyone tell me how much/often I can do this before I can expect to start catching heat from Coinbase? Also, am I more likely to be questioned if I send all money straight to my bank account as soon as it hits Coinbase?
I do the same thing and sell the bitcoins immediately to my bank.

Did 2 already for nearly 3k , the first one went into my bank acct already , the 2nd one is supposed to be here by Thursday coinbase said.

I quit being paranoid about all this stuff because in reality we are small timers.

If they question it say you are a freelancer or something and take payments in bitcoin.

If they don't want to deal with you they will close your account but will let you take out all your money.

Like someone else mentioned a while back, seems they do these in batches vs an individual 72 hr window. I got lucky apparently, getting into the 5/17 batch, even though I actually requested less than 48 hrs ago.
How much was this for? I've requested mine on 5/15. Still nothing.

They will most likely close your account in the near future. Just use an intermediary bitcoin wallet. Why risk it? How will you get your money if both Coinbase and Circle close your account?

Why would they close my account?

I am staying within my limits and have only done these 2 transactions

I will eventually use a usb wallet or something , I am just trying to get some more money into my bank because I'm buying a new car this week

I've received the customary two messages saying "thank you for your withdrawal request" and "your withdrawals have been processed, but have yet to receive the third indicating the amount in euros I would be receiving for any of them.

I called their customer service and was told to send in a screen shot of my bank statement showing that I had not received the funds yet. That was over 5 days ago now and I haven't gotten any sort of reply. When I've called and ask to speak to Player Advocacy, they've refused to transfer me 3 separate times. I'm not one for fear mongering, but the likelihood I see any of this money seems to be diminishing everyday. Has anyone else hand similar struggles with wires?

I'm in the same boat as well

4/11 being last wire I received
4/15, 4/18, 5/2, 5/3, 5/6 all approved but no movement in authorized payment list

bibliotech, when you withdraw, do you request multiple 9xxx or a bigger sum in one wire?

It's kind of hard to "miss a payment" when they have no standards. IMO they missed a bunch of payments in March and didn't make people whole until it was convenient for them. Claiming you have never missed a payment by making people wait months and then crediting their account with the funds is the definition of missing a payment.

I guess this is the new norm and to just make the best of it until online gambling is legalized...

I request them once in a multiple of 9500, and they send them out 9500 at a time

If not, it says to use a unique address for every withdrawal to make things quicker.

Not sure if you did or not but thought I'd mention it

Even though I don't play with rent monies and I have no major issues waiting, this is an excellent point over here. If you don't send your credit card payment when you're supposed to send it, you missed that payment. Even if you send it 2 months after.

I've been a long time lurker and fwiw I do have a VFF withdrawal approved on March 19th that's nowhere to be found yet and my first BTC withdrawal was requested on May 14th for $1,900 that hasn't been approved yet. It's just slightly over the 72 hour deal, so no reason to be concern yet, just passing along the information.

Anyways, just wanted to thank you all for your contributions here, specially the BTC connoisseurs. Such an interesting topic. I'll let you know when I get the monies.

Can anyone else confirm Fooka's post for me?

Thanks.
iirc u can dep. checks from the east at the atm vs. the ones from the north which have to be taken inside.

in either case, if u use a major money center bank like bee oh aye or chayyyys, the funds can be available next day. smaller banks have to send to collections. where the check is from is irrelevant in this regard in my experience. which bank u use makes all the difference.

No I have done countless VFF's and checks over the years. Longtime Bovada player and this is my 2nd BTC withdrawal. The first one was approved and received in 77 hours into my blockchain. I made sure this receiving address was a different blockchain receiving address from what I used the first time.

And for those of you who are concerned with taking too much money in and out of circle/coinbase... do yourself a favor and get the bitpay.com/visa card so you can send BTC from your blockchain and then withdraw up to $3k/day USD out of any ATM.

+1 Thank You for the great advice , I saved the bitpay site to my favorites a while back but didn't research it any further and forgot about it.

Thanks for the reminder =)

i think the best thing to do is have all 3, circle, coinbase, bitpay, even the shiftpayments card.

Just keep switching up which one you're using.

i ordered the bitpay card last week also, the question i have is...what makes bitpay any different than circle/coinbase in terms of them getting nebby about where the bitcoins will be coming from?

VFF requested 4/25
VFF approved 4/26
VFF sent for processing 5/10
Vff received: still waiting.

I thought I would have hit soon once I got the "sent for processing" email, but haven't gotten anything yet. I'm tempted to call/email bovada, but I really don't want to deal with them right now. So I guess I'll just wait and hope it comes soon, unless someone thinks it's bad to not call/email customer service.

i am in the exact same boat as you, exact same days. Normally when we received the sent for processing email it took 10 business days from that point to receive payment. In the past we would receive 2 emails, now bovada is sending 3. Yes this process is about 10 business days now, 10 until you cannot cancel your withdraw, and 10 after the processing email. I will give bovada a little slack, from what i heard theyre using a new 3rd party processor and changed the max vff withdraw. I am anticipating my 4/26 withdraw to get here 10/24. Sucks ive been waiting for these funds since 3/13 but theres nothing now i can do. When my VFF didn't go through in march i didnt receive a processing email so this gives me hope.

HOWEVER i will not let bovada off the hook. I was compensated nothing and was also promised an "expedited" payment. 10 extra business days isn't what i would call that, however i do expect now to receive the funds.

I have a vff which was sent for processing on 5/2 and a btc cashout from 5/11. I called service and they were pretty useless.

Their response was we are running behind the stated times, give it some more time. I asked if he could be more specific but he couldn't.

From what I gather some people have gotten their $$$ refunded to their bovada account. Not me (March 19th), and apparently not you either. I also assume we are very small sample of a much larger population. So hang tight, we just gotta wait for now.
