I know there was another poster in this thread with a check above $3,000 and I believe everything ended up being fine. Bodog ensured me that I would have no problems cashing the check and I will post an update if I do run into any trouble.

We'll see how lucky I am the last one I request was for $4,500.

just wanted to share this.

haven't cashed out since 8/22, which was the 3rd week in a row i took out 2k via MT. i had deposited $100 via this method so that i could receive payouts via it. before this i had only received a few checks (all cleared), all of which were a while before the MT payouts.

FF to yesterday. i call them to see if there's any way i can get a MT payout and have them waive the fee, as i do not plan on getting payouts via this method in the future, have done a few of them with no fee, have been a member for a long time (tens of thousands in rake), etc etc figured i might as well ask. so they tell me no and i say OK fine just put the MT transfer through. 2 hours later i get an email that says "Note that as per our payout policies, your payout will be processed via Check by Courier rather than Money Transfer since you have not created a deposit history through the Money Transfer method." I of course call right away and have the agent speak with her supervisor who 'reviews my account' and she finally proceeds with the MT payout. i specifically ask if i will have any future problems with this in case i do need to request another payout via MT. she says no.

i just get this email a couple hours later. "Please note your payout for the amount of $3000.00 will be processed via Money Transfer as a one time exception. Please note that it may take an average of 3 business days before you receive your payment." at this point i'm not sure whether i should call and be like wtf? or wait until i actually have to or need to get another MT payout and see if they process it via check. This just really pisses me off because i've received 3 payouts via MT now with no problem and now all of a sudden it's a huge hassle w/ fees and everything. i'm really encouraged the checks are going faster but still sometimes you just need money in < week.

will update on when i get the information but also wanted to remind others who are waiting on it to keep us updated. i also meant to ask what changes if any were going to happen with the new legislation but i forgot to ask, does anyone know for sure if there will be any?

cool, ty niss.

figure i should prob. call them about this but it's not important and more than anything just curious. does anyone know if you can pick up the transfer in other locations than what your bodog account says? and if no - can you just change your address in your bodog account after you receive the payout information and then it works?

there is a post on 2+2 somewhere -- might be this thread -- that talks about where you can get your payment. There is a geographic limitation, but you're not limited to one particular pick-up location. You should find that post though because I don't want to give out wrong information.

I wouldn't change your address after getting the payout. As far as picking up money transfers, I have picked them up in about 6 different cities, all within a 40 mile radius or so from the city listed on my bodog account.

no i haven't. i've only deposited once for $100 but basically was told that would be enough/fine. like i said three payouts in a row went through fine (although all were within a month of eachother and this is almost 2 months later...not that it should really matter) but i was never told i had to 'establish a history' what would establish one anyway? making two deposits...three? just seems ridiculous it's like they don't want anyone using this method.

I am a long time player on the site and had the same thing happen to me a couple of months ago. I had used MT countless times, but all of a sudden on a MT payout a couple of months ago, they told me it would be processed by check for the same reasons you stated in your prior post. After a few phone calls, one of which took over an hour, I was finally able to get the MT option renewed without making any further deposits.

I was able to get another 10 MT payouts or so since that time but my last payout was just cancelled and I am unsure as to what the reason was. It had been "on hold" since 11/6 and I recently got an email stating it was cancelled. I'll update this thread when I get a response from Bodog.

I've already gone back on my pledge to never play there again.

Got a $19 credit to my account because of the bounced check.

I will certainly never deposit there again.

My check bounced and I am currently trying to get them to do WU or MT but they are giving me the run-around

Financial Services phone number is 1-866-502-3365

Don't even waste your time with Customer Service if you have problems with your check.

I've wasted several days working with a Customer Service supervisor who lied to me and told me I couldn't reach Financial Services by phone and that his only contact with them was email.

Then today I get an email from Financial Services and they included the phone number.

I'm currently getting the run-around from them yet again. They are supposed to call me back in an hour, lets see if they do.

I've been receiving checks every 7-10 days since I received my first one. It's been 8 days since my last check was received. I'm still owed 27K from my cashout and got a check today for $20.15. Are you f'n kidding me? In shipping costs, it costs almost double that to send a FedEx International Priority Letter. I can't believe it. I guess I gotta wait another week now........

Received my FINAL check: requested Nov 1st, received Nov 19th. I am officially a former BoDog player.

I find it mildly comical this was the fastest payment I had gotten from them and it is my last, having pulled out all my funds partially due to exceedingly long payouts.

just got this email

after calling and harassing them numerous times, it appears I may be getting close to receiving my money:

(maybe i could harass them into covering the fees but at this point i'm willing to accept what i can get as long as I don't have to keep dealing with bogus checks)

Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.

We have sent out an email to our relevant department, and once they have a confirmation we will send you an email letting you know the update.

However, they are some fees that will be charge for Money Transfer.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards,

Same here dude. My check cashed, and i am done with this place. Check came the fastest its ever has though. Just not a fan of the uncertainty of the bounced check.

Hey so I have noticed in these posts that there has been some inconsistency in the large payout request.

I have seen that some ppl have received 4 and 5k checks
I saw one poster say he got 2 3k checks in a week

My question is has anyone called them and tried to get them to give larger amounts on checks?
Was it to any avail?

The payout time has decreased drastically so I was thinking that means they have more processors or less payouts or whatever so I was thinking maybe theyd be able to give more than 3k a week now.

I also made 2 separate large check requests..This is probably a no and a dumb question but when these checks overlap like the 1st payout is still goin on and the other is ready to begin...will they send 2 in a week? probably not just wondering tho

I also too had the same thing happen to me with the money transfer.
I used it 9 times then it was taken away when the fees went into place.
I even called them very upset about the fees and they wrote in my notes that I am entitled to 1 free money transfer payout do to the suddeness of the fees which they never gave me.

If anybody has any answers please let me know

Thanks

Famous,

I made multiple large cashout requests within a few days of eachother as well. Bodog pays out the amount of each request with a max of $3,000 per check. I'm waiting for 27K still and I had acccidentially had a $20 cashout on record because I but in $3,020 on one of my requests to cover the fee (before I knew they took this out of your account). I got a check yesterday for $20 which sucks because I've been getting $3,000 every 7-10 days.

The overlap you talk about won't matter. Once you receive your first check you'll get one every week until you get all of it.
